Tate Headed to College Park?

Well, he is this weekend. Though no guarantees about next fall.

DeMatha All-Met receiver Kenny Tate took an official visit to Illinois last weekend and this weekend will take an official visit to Maryland. The 6-4, 215-pound senior plans trips to Penn State and Florida in January.

Though at times in the fall he seemed uninterested in the recruiting process, Tate said he is happy to be where he is.

"It's tough sometimes, but I'm glad to be in this situation, so I really can't complain," Tate said.
