Kenyi and Clark Are WCAC Co-Players of the Year

O'Connell All-Met Jason Clark (Georgetown) and Gonzaga forward Max Kenyi (Harvard) each received five of 10 votes in balloting by the league's coaches and shared the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Player of the Year.

Other members of the all-league first-team: Carroll forward Rodney McGruder (Kansas State), Gonzaga center Ian Hummer, Gonzaga forward Cameron Johnson (Virginia football) and Carroll forward Kris Joseph (Syracuse). All except McGruder and Hummer are seniors.

On the second-team: O'Connell sophomore guard Kendall Marshall (North Carolina), Good Counsel senior forward Jordan Clarke (Vermont), Bishop McNamara junior forward Rashad Whack and center Talib Zanna and DeMatha junior forward Naji Hibbert.

On the third-team: Gonzaga sophomore guard Tyler Thornton, DeMatha senior forward Kenny Tate (Maryland football), Paul VI Catholic guard Adrian Mills, St. John's freshman guard Chris Martin and McNamara senior guard Marc Hill (North Carolina A&T).

great season and career for kenyi. he's really improved, and i hope to see big things from him in college (maybe not harvard...)
