On-Field General Chooses Army

Bishop Ireton tight end-linebacker Andrew Rodriguez, the son of one of the army's leaders in Afghanistan, has chosen to play at West Point, Ireton Coach Tony Verducci writes in an email. Rodriguez was a second-team All-Met last season.
