Taylor In Trouble at Penn State Too?
Remember how Penn State got the best of Maryland three years ago when it seemed all the top local prospects headed to State College? And remember that it says here way too much is made of recruiting and that it takes three to four years before a recruiting class can be judged? Well, that Penn State class of locals has hit a few speed bumps, the latest coming with this report that defensive lineman Phil Taylor has been suspended from the team. Taylor was listed in a criminal complaint but not charged after an October fight; the same one that has fellow D.C. native Navorro Bowman awaiting trial on felony assault charges. A third former All-Met, lineman Antonio Logan-El, of course, transferred to Towson.
