Philly Player is MVP; Locals Don't Tear It Up
Philadelphia guard Tyreke Evans, yet to make his college choice, was the MVP of last night's McDonald's All-American game. He is considering Villanova, Texas, Memphis and Connecticut. Not a good night for those with local ties: Virginia recruit Sylvan Landesberg had two points, Georgetown recruit Greg Monroe one. In the girls' game, Brooke Point's Chay Shegog had six points, while Lynetta Kizer of Potomac (Va.) had one.
