Ben-Eze Bound for Davidson

I'd been hearing talk of this for a few days, and now it seems to be true that O'Connell center Frank Ben-Eze has signed with Davidson. Ben-Eze had committed to Harvard but that no longer was a viable option after a New York Times story late in the season in which the academic standing of Harvard's recruits was called into question. O'Connell Coach Joe Wootten then said he thought Ben-Eze would go to a school in one of the power conferences, but this seems like a much better fit. Ben-Eze is still quite raw and unpolished and obviously needs more time to acclimate to American basketball after coming from Nigeria two years ago.
