Indiana Lands Local Player

Anyone else read about local product Maurice Creek committing to Indiana and just shake their head?

The one-time Oxon Hill standout, now a junior at South Kent (Conn.) Prep, has never been to the Hoosier state, led alone on the Bloomington campus. No need, he tells the Indianapolis Star-News. New IU Coach Tom Crean and assistant Bennie Seltzer were recruiting him at Marquette and things are no different now that Crean is at Indiana.

IU - What do they have 4 or 5 guys returning next year?

Also in the Big Ten...Jeff Peterson just moved up on the depth chart at Iowa with Tony Freeman being gently nudged out the door.
