Syracuse Offers Whitman Standout
Colleague B.J. Koubaroulis passes along this tidbit:
Syracuse offered Whitman junior Anthony Young-Wiseman on Friday. Young-Wiseman, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back and wide receiver, is a versatile do-it-all athlete who shined as a dual-threat quarterback for the Vikings (6-5) this past fall. However, Young-Wiseman most likely will be a wide receiver in college and Whitman Coach Jim Kuhn recently pledged to get the rising senior "the ball as many ways as you can."
