Spotlight on Forestville's Arnett

This week's Recruiting Spotlight features Forestville's DeOnte Arnett -- a 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end who has narrowed his list from 18 official offers to five -- Ohio State, Georgia, Maryland, Tennessee and Cincinnati. According to Coach Charles Harley, Arnett -- who recorded 72 tackles and 15 sacks last fall -- is expected to chose between those schools by Thursday. With a tremendous wing-span, a 4.9-second 40-yard dash speed and rated as the nation's No. 11 recruit at his position, Arnett will enter college with a great deal of discipline he learned while attending Forestville -- a small military academy.

An aside: Arnett could announce his college choice as soon as today and I expect he will choose Maryland.
