Terps Land A Rising Star
Just got off the phone with Forestville Coach Charles Harley, who reports that linebacker DeOnte Arnett has committed to play for Maryland.
Arnett had called coaches from Tennessee, Georgia and Cincinnati in recent days to let them know he had reached a decision then phoned Ohio State today to let the Buckeyes know he had picked Maryland.
"He's in summer school, so he couldn't get out to a lot of places," Harley said. "And he's got two teammates at Maryland and he has some younger siblings he wants to be around."
To see more of Arnett, check out B.J. Koubaroulis's Recruiting Spotlight piece in the post below.

Smart move-this guy is the anti-Gus Gilchrist. He moves into a big time program with big time need at his position. Nice going Terps-I am definitely getting season tickets now before this team takes off.
