Final Injury Report O'The Week
Did not get any guest column submissions this week, so here's a last look at the injury situation before I take off until Sunday morning. Warning: This is going to be in my "I'm a real journalist, I promise, and this is my newspaper voice" style, since I am just...

Awards Time
1 TCCL - K Fed. He blew it. What the over/under on number of months before he turns up in rehab? He's lonely and in need of a friend out there on the mean streets of Hollywood. Maybe The Snyder can finance a movie deal for him. 2 TCCL -...

Injuries, Again
Receiver Brandon Lloyd missed practice with a mild groin strain but said he will play Sunday. Quarterback Mark Brunell returned to practice after resting Wednesday. Tight end Christian Fauria remained in a walking cast and did not practice. Rogers, Patten, Jansen and Cooley all remain probable. Brief Portis Aside:...

Obligatory Injury Update
Brunell and Moss practicing, along with most of the other beat up guys. Lloyd was not participating and we do not know the nature of that injury yet. Fauria still in walking cast, so that doesn't look too good for Sunday right now. Will update more after practice when we...

Unsung Skin
With some lesser blogged about/talked about Skins making plays lately, I wanted to see who guys thought was the team's unsung hero? I would go with Sellers. I admit I have a weakness for big back who run right at people and love to stir it up at the line...

A Soggy Moss Gathers No Grass, Or Something Like That
Santana Moss says he will try to to accomplish a little more on the practice field this week, beginning today, but still is very unsure about being able to play. His hamstring is not at a point where he can run explosively, and the rain and slick field has made...

A Shootout in Philly?
I'm thinking the Redskins might need to put up some points to keep this thing rolling in Philly. Donovan McNabb has to look at what RomoCop did outside of the pocket and have visions of carving a Butterball turkey. Andy Reid, who might be pondering turkeys for other reasons,...

New Orleans Update
Hey there. Looks like the volunteer trip to New Orleans is going along smoothly. Here is the latest news from our guy Scott: Volunteers and Potential Volunteers: Redskins Fans Mission to New Orleans has secured a reservation to build homes at the Habitat for Humanity Musicians Village from Wednesday December...

Bye Week Blues
I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy, and thought this might fan the flames a bit. Robb Crocker, an editor at Washingtonpost.com, sent over some research he did on the bye week of teams this season, which I was working on as well. But...

Gloating And Celebration Thread

Monday Morning H-Back
Unbelievable finish. Great win. Dallas was intent on giving that game away and the Redskins, thanks to a huge special teams play, found a way to eventually take the gift. Maybe it was a season-changing afternoon, but after reflecting on the day it seems to me a lot of things...

Inactives - No Surpises
INACTIVES The rumors were untrue. Jason Campbell is still QB No. 3. Same as it ever was. Moss and Patten also inactive. With Shawn Springs back, the Mike Rumph era seems to have come to its inglorious conclusion (barring further injuries, of course). Skins only have three WRs active today,...

Game Day Blog
Are you guys still in your jimmies, or are you in full game-face mode? Anyway, I'm here in the press box. Wanted to stop by a few tailgates, but I got to the stadium later than I would have liked. Marc Craig, who covers the Terps for us, was late...
