Inactives
Moss is dressed, the inactives are as expected.
Rain and thundershowers on the way - 80 percent chance so says the PA guy.
Inactives: Doughty, Patten, Rumph, Whitley, Molinaro, Montgomery, Boschetti.
I let you guys guess whose the No. 3 QB. 27 games and counting.

Watching live from Barcelona via Slingbox...yay!
I'm also wondering if the 'Skins are ever going to, you know, throw the ball upfield. I like swing passes as much as everyone, but throw...the...bomb.

Hola, Diddy!
I'm watching live on the 12-inch Toshiba on my desk. Luckily, we have the ticket, so I can surf during commercials.
Did you seen that tackle Sean Taylor missed? Oy.
Posted by: Jason's editor | November 12, 2006 1:26 PM
Sam: I don't want to play quarterback with no blocking.
Sonny: Huh.
Larry: Gotta pick up that rush.
Posted by: Lavar Walt Clark | November 12, 2006 1:31 PM
Hey, LaVar. How's the Achilles'?
Words fail me when I try to describe Sean Taylor's coverage on that play.
Posted by: Jason's editor | November 12, 2006 1:35 PM
I've got out my boo-hoo box.
Posted by: Skinz | November 12, 2006 1:37 PM
Well, that Stallworth touchdown was predictable, huh?
Just ordered a bunch of tapas and a bottle of Krypti Cava. Prepping for another Sunday evening of clubbing. The ol' liver is crying for help, but I'm ignoring it.
They're playing some soccer something or other on television. I have no idea what's going on, but everyone seems to be into it.

I suck

I love it when the football pulls a Lucy off the tee. That's my favorite blooper in football.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 1:39 PM
I was away from the radio. Who was it that got burned for 84 yards?
Posted by: Lavar Walt Clark | November 12, 2006 1:41 PM
Ah, I see, it was Sean Taylor.
Posted by: LWC | November 12, 2006 1:42 PM
Ah, Diddy's lifestyles of the rich and famous...I have a peanut butter and jelly sammich. Even Jason's living a better life, with the cheesesteaks.
Posted by: Jason's editor | November 12, 2006 1:42 PM
Sure does seem like the Eagles defense came to play today, doesn't it? The 'Skins seem to be plodding along, much like they have been all season. Need some good luck to win this game...

Cindy,
I've decided to come home a week early. I love Barcelona, but this non-stop partying has me totally and completely worn out.
I do have an outstanding wine and restaurant list to share, however. The food and wine in Barcelona is superb. But I would give anything for a decent PB&J right now. Seriously. When I get back, I'm eating steamed veggies and grilled chicken for a month.
2-6 is hurt...not a good sign.

Uh-oh, another ding for Portis....If you haven't read it yet, Jason wrote a particularly good one today:

If only they were able to trade for another running back to spell Clinton every now and then.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 1:50 PM
They need a big guy. A bruiser. Atlanta used to have the perfect guy, Duckett, I think his name was. What ever happened to him?
Posted by: Jason's editor | November 12, 2006 1:53 PM
And, of course, you knew Novak was gonna miss that one.
Posted by: Jason's editor | November 12, 2006 1:54 PM
Thanks Nick the #ick.
Posted by: Skinz | November 12, 2006 1:55 PM
This is setup to be the single most horrible game in 'Skins/Eagles history. Unless you're an Eagles fan.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 1:56 PM
Anyone got a fork? Stick it in our playoff hopes please.
Posted by: Skinz | November 12, 2006 1:59 PM
Whoa. What a play.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 1:59 PM
Sam: I wonder how long they practiced that play.
Posted by: LWC | November 12, 2006 1:59 PM
Campbell hands off to Duckett...

I was at a fancy pants restaurant the other day and along with my risotto came...a spork! A spork! A fancy, high-gloss silverware spork! I hadn't seen a spork since my old high school cafeteria.
If I had that spork with me right now, I'd probably stick it in my eye.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 2:00 PM
Sam: It's getting worse.
Posted by: LWC | November 12, 2006 2:01 PM
Weinstein: Portis - broken hand.
Posted by: LWC | November 12, 2006 2:04 PM
Well, I'm going to start killing some brain cells now.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 2:05 PM
Portis hurty. Brunell museumy. My offense all punty.
Posted by: Dr. Saunders | November 12, 2006 2:06 PM
Third and 15, 4 man rush, HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU GIVE UP 17 YARDS. Shoot, forget about the td. This team is toast, and watching them play is torture. A predictable offense a nd a TERRIBLE D. Novak, you kill me missing that chip shot, 48 or not.
CP, get you butt healthy and put your money where your mouth is. You want the ball but you lack football shape, and for this you continue to crack.
Pissed.

A spork! Wow! Quien sabe?
This is dismal.
Posted by: Jason's editor | November 12, 2006 2:07 PM
I'm from da U.
Posted by: The Grim Weeper | November 12, 2006 2:08 PM
Great. Now Sean Taylor hits somebody.
Portis's hand is indeed broken.

Only Shakespeare can save us now:
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now! 'Cause when the goin' gets tough, the tough get goin'!
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 2:12 PM
Oh, and Marcus, you anticipate the throw and go to the throw, but you drop the throw. THAT was the start of the slide.
Posted by: Coolio | November 12, 2006 2:12 PM
Horse collar! That's the first time I've ever seen that called. Lucky us.
Posted by: P Diddy | November 12, 2006 2:13 PM
Playoffs?!?!?!?!
Posted by: Jim Mora | November 12, 2006 2:30 PM
Brunell is a museum
He throws a pass I scree-am
He's not good for the tee-am
The Snyder family
Posted by: Gomez | November 12, 2006 2:33 PM
Larry: That wouldn't have been a first down, even if he'd caught it...
Posted by: LWC | November 12, 2006 2:42 PM
Unbelievable sequence at the end of the 1st half! 3rd and 10 at the PHI 40, and we TOSS to Betts? The go for it on 4th and 7 and miss? Who's managing the clock at the end of the half for this team, Chris Webber?
Posted by: SoCalSkins | November 12, 2006 2:44 PM
Looked like a fumble to me.
Posted by: Notorious B.O.B. | November 12, 2006 3:18 PM
Don't worry, only 7 more games till it's Skins time of year. When do we hang our offseason championship banners Cindy?
Posted by: Skinz | November 12, 2006 3:47 PM
