Can They Trade Down?
So with Quinn and Peterson still on the board - the scenario many in the Skins organization had dreamed of - will they be able to make it work to their advanatge. I hear the Bears tals as of 3 minutes ago had not progressed, but maybe Buffalo, Miami, Green Bay or someone else is willing to move up for an offensive player.
Also, Minnesota is high on Landry, Atlanta likes Landry and Okoye - so mayb e they make a push, too, because the Skins would be cool with dealing down a few spots and still getting one of either Landry or Okoye, the two defensive players they have identified as being worthy of the sixth pick.
Jamaal Anderson is the highest rated DE, but they have felt he is a stretch this high. Should they trade down he might be a target.

As awsome as it is to have both guys there at 6, it could hurt us with the 7 and 8 because I think they have so many needs at various positions. We will have to see. I just hope they don't get too greedy.

trade to miami. if it goes quinn-landry-okoye then trade down again for someone who wants peterson. otherwise you get either landry or okoye and a #2. home run.

Rachel Nichols said that the Dolphins GM is waiting to hear what the skins offered to trade down. That's a$$ backwards - if that's what it looks like the skins will stay put.

Landry looks pretty excited. Skins pick? WR's will be terrified crossing the middle
Posted by: skinswest | April 28, 2007 1:14 PM
if they don't trade down this will be a waste of a draft

Landry looks like a stud, but not much shown on his coverage skills. Besides, who builds a defense from the safeties forward? Our D-Line is AWFUL. Defense starts up front.
