8:25 Kickoff??
It's pretty bad out here folks and this field is going to be a pigpile when they do play.
Word is they think it'll blow over and they are aiming for 8:25 kick, but that's far from certain.
Hope I didn't leave any windows cracked in my piece-of-crap Jetta. Yikes.
Oh snap, lights just flickered some and now they are out in a part of the stadium.
Stay tuned.

Virginia Beach has it on two channels. WAVY 10 and Comcast.

Brett Haber said a lightning bolt hit the field... and he got a jolt through his ear piece. Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen to Kent Brockman.

The game isn't on in Norfolk/Va. Beach either. WAVY is finally running a crawl saying the game is delayed and they will have it when it starts. We hope.

did somebody say 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

The Skins VP for media relations guy on the news said, after the lightning passes, the teams get 20 minutes to warm, then national anthem, then coin toss.
Posted by: dcsween | August 25, 2007 8:15 PM
The Asst Strength/Conditioning coach said St. Joe told the team to change their cleats, which means they have to 're-spat'. I'm guessing that means every guy needs to get his cleats retaped onto his feat. Seems like 9pm kickoff is way too optimistic.

The guy that replaced Kendall just gave up a sack.

Where are you 'Skins fans watching the Cowboys and the GMen? I'd like to watch those games instead of the filler on Channel 9.

LOVE the way Cooley refers to Collins and Brunnell as "the old guys."

Help?
I have all the games queued up on NFL.com
Posted by: SCSkinsFan | August 25, 2007 8:24 PM
Topics on 'Skins Radio Show:
- Call Synder about game;
- Call NFL Commissioner Gozelle (as Huff calls him_;
- Call NBC 4 meteorologist Bob Ryan about the game...
This is torture...
Now Huff is reciting the Gettysburg Address. What type of hooch are they drinking in the booth?
Posted by: Chris in Stumptown | August 25, 2007 8:24 PM
They're still saying 9:10 or 9:15.
Posted by: Cindy | August 25, 2007 8:25 PM

Posted by: Anonymous | August 25, 2007 8:26 PM
Yes, now WTTG's Sue Palka is on and Huff said, "You're much better than Bob Ryan..."
This is insane!

"oh snap"???? How gay is that? That's what my 16 y.o. daughter, (that's heavily involved in musical theater), would say!
