Cuts (Updated)
DISCLAIMER: I am not saying any of these players have been officially cut, just reporting what I see. Take this as an observation and draw your own conclusions.
The Skins have called a lot of guys back to let them know they have been released. Renaldo Wynn pulled up and is inside Redskins Park now and I did not have a chance to talk to him yet. He could be here to pick up mail or his check or whatever .. all I am saying is he is in the building at the time when players who have been released were called back. I will write more when I know more.
(UPDATE: Renaldo is still in there now more than 30 minutes after he arrived. I can't think that's a good sign. Also looks like Omar Stoutmire entered the building. Safety was the last position where I had not noted any one passing through)
Fred Beasley just left and said a few good-byes. Sartz, Palmer, Lefotu, Sinclair, Westbrook, Buzbee have also come and gone, along with about 10 other guys.

Jasno, where is the media room at The Park? I'd think they would shove you guys into a broom closet or something. Didn't think they'd let you hang out with a view of who is coming and going.

Fred Beasley, Sartz, Palmer, Lefotu, Sinclair, Westbrook, Buzbee, and Wynn.
Chris Wilson makes it. Bell, Lefotu expected, Sinclair unexpected. Must have had a bad 2nd half. That's still not enough to get down to 53.

They'd cut him so they can put him on the practice squad. He'll be back.

Ahmm who are the 10 other guys ...
With the 8 guys you listed that should make 57
75-18 = 57?

If they hand you a list with 53 names on it at 4:00, how long do you think it would take to digest it, process it, and post it? Hint: more than two minutes, periculump.

Still waiting for news on cuts....but from the other thread, I have to second the feeling that this is a great smart move by the team and the front office. Kudos to 'em.

The Redskins board is reporting Wynn has been released.

Well, I recall myself and some others posting on this site that we felt Wynn would be an off-season cut even before traning camp.
Guess Coach Joe said bring him to camp and see if young guys could beat out Wynn. Apparently they did.
We needed to get younger on D.
I am hopeful Sartz gets to hang around too, hoping he develops gets bigger over the years. Monte Colemon did this having speed when he arrived and really grew physically over the years...

Quick checking in... first off, THANKS to Cindy and Jasno for all the updates. I feel like we're right there in the broom closet at the Park with the other schlubs.
You gotta hate cutdown day -- tough on just about everybody -- but I feel so good about our roster, about this team. Not crazy Kool-Aid Super Bowl good, just plain good.
And re-signing Cooley... haven't caught up with all the comments on the last thread, but this is a slam dunk. So very happy.
HAIL!
