I'm picturing J-La in an Ashburn parking lot with his Pot Belly sandwich and a big ole milkshake, stealing WiFi from Starbucks, trying to scarf down lunch while he hits us with these new posts.
Great work, sir!

Jason,
Could you leave your computer for a bit, so Steinberg can cross post stuff here, too?
Posted by: Kim | September 11, 2007 3:53 PM
Also Dame, thx for those Portsmouth pix earlier. Much appreciated.
We come from a city that is more than a little aesthetically challenged, don't we?
Just kiddin.' We love ya, P-town!

You people are losers. You sit on this page all day constantly refreshing it just so you can be the first one to comment, and then you post something completely childish and immature? Real cool.

I think Jasno is gonna be on IR next week--injuries to his fingers from all his posts today.

Did you guys see that we got a WR today?

Grilliams has been infected with Gibbspeak:
We played the way I thought we would," assistant head coach/defense Gregg Williams said. "I was super-happy with 23 tackles from [new starting linebackers London Fletcher and Rocky McIntosh].

Notes from Underground...
With Jansen on the mend this fall, I feel particularly sorry for the deer in the greater DC area.
(Am I misremembering things, or do I remember a few years ago reading about players hearing shotgun blasts around Redskins Park, with Jansen and Ramsey mysteriously absent?? I swear I read that in an article a few years ago).
Well, Mr Jansen, now that you have some time on your hands, why not join us up in the RI? Speedy recovery, sir.

4-12, two things. One, thanks for keeping me up to speed on all things ND. Seriously, I appreciate it. No need to go F yourself.
And two, I was thinking of the same song for him!! But trying to come up with a more apropos replacement for the "Bette Davis" part...

"Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?"
also,
"I'm a loser, and I've lost someone who's dear to me
I'm a loser, and I'm not what I appear to be.?"

So, is The Receiver worth anything to anybody else? A seventh rounder? Please?

MV- "Bette Davis eyes"...5 syllables.
"brandon lloyd's locker"...5 syllables.
Potential is there, but I think I've proven my lack of haiku ability on innumerable occasions.
Posted by: 4-12 | September 11, 2007 4:14 PM
i think ud have to give a draft pick to get rid of lloyd, have to wait to cut him :(
Posted by: peter | September 11, 2007 4:14 PM
Thanks Sween, I needed a good chuckle at the end of this long workday.

The starving masses of the world won't take this trade EVEN WITH the ham sandwich.

Can we start ITAing anyone who suggest to cut Lloyd or trade him this year or what?

i wonder who it was that really pushed to sign "the receiver" in the first place....i mean the all negative intell that was available.....Gibbs above all wants football players and sometimes you are going to miss, but i mean at least arch and duckett are tough physical types who just were miscast here and maybe have grealty dim ished skills and we paid way to high a price etc... but at the end of the day they were players willing to get the uniform dirty..... "the receiver" just isn't a gibbs type of player someone who loves football

How long before Calwell reads through the 700 page playbook and can actually play?

Probably a LOT sooner than it will take to convince The Nnoid to actually play, rather than just go through the motions....

It ain't rocket science for WRs. He'll be on the field Sunday and Lloyd will be inactive. If Lloyd wants to see the game he'll have to buy an Amtrak ticket and meet a scalper outside the stadium. What he did was too obvious to everyone. Hell, even I saw it.
'Skins can't get anything for Lloyd. No one will trade for that contract and if anyone out there wants him they can pick him up for the minimum next year after the Skins cut him.
Posted by: talent evaluator | September 11, 2007 4:29 PM
With his eyes, CoSkins, hell... he's already finished!
Posted by: MV Dame | September 11, 2007 4:34 PM
"What he did was too obvious to everyone."
I'm curious what you mean by this.
Posted by: Joe in Raleigh | September 11, 2007 4:35 PM
Back in the day there was no IR... so your foot is facing the wrong way? Toughen up and keep playing. We'd get the team doc to saw it off and you could play on the stump. The league has gone soft.

Jason,
Is there an email or address that we can send wish you well cards to Janson?
Thanks,
Chris C.
