Jamie Dukes on NFL network just said that he thought CP using 21 was a very good idea and a fitting tribute.
Of course that was right after the douche had to defend associating Sean with Vick and Jones.

This blog has been my lifeline out here in San Diego. Thank so much for keeping us so updated.
I have one question; what was it like growing up for Sean? I keep hearing people talk about how hard it is to leave the "hood" but from what I read, he went to an affluent high school and grew up with two parents living with his dad, who is a police chief, and his step mom. His girfriend is related to a major movie star. Hardly sounds like the life of a thug?

What's with NFL.com and other sites giving the Sean Taylor jersey the Vick treatment? There's no good reason people shouldn't be able to purchase his jersey and wear it to honor him. If they want to use the proceeds from sales to help out his family all the better, but I don't understand why you can't go to any site to buy the Taylor jersey (other than Ebay). This is just bizarre. People wear the jerseys to honor their favorite player - there's no reason not to honor Taylor - I don't see a reason to halt sales.

I just saw the article in the Post saying that the police have absolutely no idea who killed him, and that they're regarding this as just another random act of violence.
So we're supposed to believe that Taylor just so happened to have his house broken into twice within two weeks and just so happened to suprise a burglar in his own home after midnight? Pull the other one-- it's got bells on it.

He's still there. Just use the scroll bar to scroll down and vote for Sean

The news I'm hearing (from the Miami-Dade PD) is that it appears - as of now at least - that Taylor was the victim of a random act of violence.
Like I said earlier today, home invasion robberies are on the rise nationwide. There was an entire family murdered in Connecticut a few months back in a home invasion robbery.
At any rate, if the cops are right about this, then all the talk from the media knuckleheads about Taylor's past playing a role in this incident is pure fiction.
Some of them, including a few who work for this paper, should be ashamed of themselves.

Taylor is still available for Pro Bowl voting, you just have to scroll...
Does anyone have any idea why they've stopped selling his jersey though? Are we supposed to just forget about him - act like he never existed like the NFL did to Vick or Carruth? I don't mean to jump to such conclusions, but I honestly can't figure out why they would pull his jersey. He is worth honoring and doesn't deserve the treatment the NFL and other shops are giving him by taking the jersey away. If they're concerned with seeming inappropriate about selling the jersey, how about donate some of those proceeds to the family?

I doubt that nfl.com pulled his jersey.
My guess is that the Greedy Ghouls of this world bought up all the stock of his jerseys right after they heard he died the other morning, and are now selling them at jacked-up prices on eBay.
Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

MrRedskin, if that were true then they would show the jersey as out of stock, but available for purchase. Also, try getting it at shops other than NFL.com... it's out of Dick's sporting goods, it's out a lot of places. It's just not even listed as existing. It's been wiped clean... unless you want a youth size... and even then they probably just overlooked that.
They would at least indicate they usually have it, but it's out of stock... or at least some other site would have it.

Maybe.
All I know is that I was on Dick's site and NFL.com trying to get one at 11:00 am the day Taylor died. So that was what? 6 hours from his death?
I have a 75th Anniversary Taylor jersey, but I wanted the regular one. And they (Dick's/NFL.com) were already putting "out of stock" up on their sites, as was Eastbay (a good site, by the way, for all sports apparel).
Maybe I'm being too cynical, but I believe some people bought a bunch of jerseys so they could sell them on eBay or wherever at a profit.
I hope not. I'd like to think people are better than that.

Even reebok.com isn't selling it... You can't tell me that there are that many people just buying out the entire supply everywhere. It doesn't even make sense as a get-rich-quick scheme, because no one is going to buy that many jerseys. I'm pretty sure it's been pulled and they're giving Taylor the Vick treatment completely inappropriately.

that is False...Sean is still an option on the probowl selection voting...SCROLL DOWN
