Today dosen't count. There have only been 5 post today. An alltime low in a day....

Where the heck is shirlington? VA? I alread started my happy hour since my wife's baby shower is right now. Sounds too far for me. I would have def made it if it were closer........

Shirlington is in VA, not far far out but if you have no car no go.

Its me ... periculum

Patience is a virtue ... I need to practice more.

JACK buddy still think the DL needs help? After what Jasno said in the last blog about Lorenzo, Wilson, Montgomery and Golston?

THEY NEED CORNERBACKS DUDE! LOTS AND LOTS. Free agents and draft picks particularly if the let Shawn Springs leave!!! Heavens they could have used Nate Clemens who is now slacking as the 49'ers fall into oblivion.

On another front ... sheesh I was giving dating advice!? Got dumped in 1 week for another guy after a year long relationship. I think I need to read and follow my own advice. YIKES women are tougher than the Patriots.

Periculum has morphed into Pete? OMG

Periculum/Pete--

If women weren't tough, they'd be men.

How 'bout those Virginia Cavaliers, closing down the Orange Bowl with a 48-0 demolition of the 'Canes? That's something just about all of us can cheer about. And it sets up what should be a classic finale, Va Tech at Charlottesville in two weeks, for a shot at the ACC title game.

Wahoowa!

Also, HAIL!

Go Hokies

Congrats, Nate.
My eldest went to UVA band camp this summer, so I'm becoming a fan-by-the-kids-dragging me, but I watched a bit of that game and it was embarassing how easy the Cavs made it look.
My Wolverines fared not as well.

Posted by: daggar | November 10, 2007 10:57 PM

And wow, look at Maryland whooping up on Boston College. What a crazy season it's been.

Posted by: NateinthePDX | November 10, 2007 11:03 PM

If you have NFL network they are playing the Ämericans'Game" series 82'skins. It's good stuff if you're a fanatic and too young to truly remember that team well.

The offense is so far ahead of the defense now you have to double check the ticker wire to see if the score is for football or basketball. I'm not kidding. College ball is like watching two hand touch in the park.

Bu tI don't think we can blame that on the Blong bveing in critical condition.

Posted by: corkczar | November 10, 2007 11:41 PM

Thank goodness BC muffed the onside kick. I saw this game heading down the drain like all the others where the Terps had a nice lead in the 2nd half and blew it.

Nice win. Good for them.

Joey T is a great storyteller. I *love* him.

Posted by: JustMe | November 10, 2007 11:48 PM

Gameday!

Today is a critical day in the NFC East. We need to handle Philly w/ ease and the Gints need to take care of dallas. Then the race to 1st will be much murkier, which is good for us....

Re: America's game. They showed the '82 and '87 Redskins. the '87 crew told a better story, save for Bostic's whinning a$$. Al he did was criticize the coaches from begining to end.......

I know negative news sell, but damn can we get at least one positive thing from the post! Yeah the WR haven't caught a TD yet we are 5-3. A lot of teams WR have a couple of touchdowns but are not 5-3. It would have been good to talk about that.

cindy or anybody, is there any way I can still post under my old name, with the new rules, which is not my WaPo ID? for all I care, I'd be happy to change my WaPo ID to my old handle RI handle.

Anyway I'll be in the Green lot inside the hour

HAIL

jm220, I've noticed for the most part that the articles and columns from the post usually reflect the pulse of the blog.

Also, there are a number of 'realists' out there that are convinced the sky is falling no matter what the record states. (If the 'skins lose, they will continue to call for Gibbs hesd.) They need articles that present the facts that support the reasons for their pessimism. I got one thing for them:

SKINS BY 40!

Posted by: bangkokben | November 11, 2007 9:45 AM

One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble
Can't be too careful with your company
I can feel the devil walking next to me

This is it. The blog is dead. I guess everyone has decided to just "take a knee."

Posted by: X_1967 | November 11, 2007 11:31 AM

BALANCE!

Heya Kiddos,

Sorry I couldn't make the Drink Night. But I hope ya hoisted a few Bleu Hawaiian's shouting SKINS BY 40! That's what I was doin' - while Bootz is askin me to quiet the SJK down.

OK - beginning to come to terms w/ re-entering day job hell. I guess I can stop borrowing internet from the neighbors.... That's the one gift you can't thank people for specifically, but ya gotta love the 'Net Donator' THANks!!

So how we feelin' - everybody psyched UP!?

Hail!
