The Tale of the Story Snatchers

A number of readers have inquired as to the whereabouts of a story we published yesterday on washingtonpost.com -- "Invasion of the Computer Snatchers" -- about a couple of hackers we followed who were making lots of money using botnets to install spyware. The story was inadvertently published early, as it was not scheduled to be released on the site until 5 p.m. ET today (Friday).

The story will be back up at that time, and will be reachable via this link (until then, the link will just bring you back to this blog post). My apologies to any readers who were inconvenienced by this mix-up.
