Happy birthday to security fix and a big thank you to Mr Krebs from a bit of a technophobe whose computer has been rescued many times from a buggy fate thanks to timely advice found in this column.

Thanks for a great service which I check daily. You have been a great help in convincing the unconvined vulnerable that they need to be better prepared.

Here is a suggested topic for you: the now growing phenomenon of systems which suffer bad consequences due to Microsoft updates.

In my experience, these come in two types: systems with underlying problems which the update reacts with causing problems, and updates erroneously pushed out by Microsoft such as the recent VIA hardware update which hosed a number of systems.

Thanks again for being there.

I love "Security Fix"! It's one of the sites I check every day when I first login to my PC

I found the blog less than a year ago, but it has become the place where I get all my PC/Web security-related site.

Well done Brian, and keep up the great work.

TA!

Happy Birthday !

I really appreciate that you are asking people for feedback or critique.
I think the blog is great ! I have no suggestions for changes.
One particularly good feature is the inclusion of URLs relevant to what is being discussed.
