Jews for Obama, Oy Vey!

Barack Obama's promise Thursday night to support Israel is just the tip of the iceberg of a vast organized grassroots effort to woo Jewish voters to support the Illinois senator's presidential campaign.

A loose coalition of Jewish groups, including JewsForObama.net, is now working on putting together an ad to run in the New York Times and perhaps elsewhere that will essentially make the case for why Jewish voters should support Obama, according to two founders of JewsForObama.net.

One of the co-founders, who asked not to be identified by name, says the ad is being written and paid for by a "loose coalition of Jewish supporters" that originated in Chicago. "They called and said, 'Can you help us?'" the Jews for Obama co-founder says, adding that the coalition is currently working on gathering signatures from representatives in all 50 states for the ad.

Sen. Barack Obama hugs Israeli Amb. to the U.S. Sallai Meridor at an Israeli Independence Day celebration at the Israeli Embassy Thursday, May 8, 2008.

"The ad will say why the Jewish community supports Barack Obama," the source says.

Another co-founder of the group, Ruth Greenspan Bell, says JewsForObama.net is trying to "set the record straight. We think much of the stuff that has been going around on the Internet is inaccurate and misleading."

Obama has been struggling to rebound from missteps and misperceptions fueled by the Internet that his commitment to Israel and the Jewish community isn't strong. First, there was the false rumor that he is Muslim. Then, there was the endorsement from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and the inflammatory videotaped statements by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, who also praisd Farrakhan.

Another source who is supporting the effort to rally nationwide Jewish support for Obama attended Thursday evening's anniversary celebration of Israeli independence, where she said she witnessed Obama and Israeli Ambassador Sallai Meridor giving each other "a big bear hug."

Obama, who was party hopping Thursday night between the Israeli Embassy and Union Station, where his campaign held a big fundraiser, told the gathering at the embassy, "I pledge to you that I will do whatever I can in whatever capacity to not only ensure Israel's security but also to ensure that the people of Israel may thrive and prosper and build on the enormous promise that was made 60 years ago."

Of course many of us who are Jewish don't think support of Israel should be a litmus test. Israel has one of the worst human rights abuse records around, with their criminal treatment of Palestinians, and their vicious attacks on Lebanon and other Arab countries.

I look forward to the day when Israel is treated as just another country, and when the U.S. will force Israel to end their occupation of what is left of what was once Palestine.

I am Jewish and I really don't get the "oy vey" part of the headline of Akers' story. In fact, I find it rather offensive. She obviously has no idea of what she is saying. OY VEY (IZ MIR) in Yidish means "Woe is me!" For Clinton and McCain perhaps, but not for "Jews for Obama."

I am a supporter of Sen. Obama for the presidency and I am very happy about how well he has been doing. I am also glad that people are beginning to recognize that Clinton's supporters do not have the right to speak for all Jews about the Jewish vote, and the Republican Jewish Coalition certainly doesn't.

The appropriate phrase, upon hearing about Jewish support for Obama is, much more appropriately, "Gott ze Danken!" (Yiddish) or (in Hebrew) BARUCH HASHEM!"

BTW, for anyone who is intereted, a website called "Zazzle.com" has t-shirts, buttons and magnets that say "Barack Obama 2008" in Hebrew letters.

Obama has has continued to lie and manipulate his stand on important issues. He has become a master at pandering and will say and do anything to get elected.

However, once he gets your vote he forgets all about you and shows zero loyalty.

The Jewish community is too smart to fall for his lies once again.

Obama can not and should not be trusted to run this nation.

Too many Israelis, and even more of their supporters in the US, seem to think that the Israeli-Palestine conflict has to have a zero-sum solution. Obama may well be a leader who can help devise and implement a win-win solution (even if it is not ideal).

Compromise is a process leading to the happiness of all parties in the knowledge that the others are unhappy.

Jews for Obama, Oy Vey!

Honestly speaking, I sincerely feels that the Jews will come together and rally around Obama despite the rhetoric. Obama has been as sincere as one can be, as his sister had confirmed in an interview surrounding him. I can relate to Obama speaking the truth, even if it hurts. I am so much like that myself. I would rather be real when dealing with people, life is too short for games and tommorrow isn't promised to none. Be happy and enjoy the every moment and you will be even happier when you have the concerns and interests of the people on the forefront as have Obama had throughout the entirety of his campaign. It is best to stand for something, or you will fall for anything. We the American people needs to stand in unity on one accord that we may make manifest a better future for ourselves and our future generations. The same ole same ole politics is what McCain has in mind, but 'we don't think so'. The Jews know the truth and it would not benefit them at all to vote in McCain's favor, it would be very detrimental to their progress as well as the American people as a whole.

Obama foreign policy adviser, Robert Malley, has been meeting secretly with Hamas. British newspaper breaks the story, Fox News picks it up, Obama says it happened without his knowledge and Obama dismisses Malley. Here's the link.

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/05/09/report-obama-adviser-ousted-after-speaking-with-hamas/

What this report could ALSO say is that the New York Times and Washington Post have ignored the story. Instead, the New York Times is running a story which attacks McCain for "smearing" Obama by suggesting that there could be a link between Obama and Hamas.

Oh, PUH-LEEZE.

Posted by: Katie | May 10, 2008 7:30 AM

Here are some questions the media should be asking Senator Obama:

(1) How did Mr. Malley become one of your foreign policy advisers? Who brought him into your campaign and what roll did he play?
(2) Who are your foreign policy advisers other than Mr. Malley? Which of them do you rely on the most?
(3) Mr. Malley's views on the Mid-East are controversial and his roll in your campaign has been a matter of public controversy for several months. Did you speak with Mr. Malley concerning this controversy and if not, why not?
(4) Which of Mr. Malley's stated views do you agree with/disagree with? What are your own views on these issues?
(Read checklist of views and ask Senator Obama to explain his position on each item).

Is anybody from the media actually going to ask these questions? No, probably not. The days of the great investigative reporters are over. All credit to Fox News for breaking this story.

Jews should keep quiet about how being Jewish does or doesn't affect how they feel about Obama. Then, of course, in November, if they have any horse sense, they should come out in droves and vote against Obama. And then say "no comment" to the exit pollsters on the way out.

Say states and Puerto Rico left to vote, thank you for now recognizing Hillary for her strengths, not her gender or race. Remember, it is not too late, despite what the pundits, etc. are saying. Let's save America the land that we love not, necessarily the Democratic Party. If Hillary doesn't get the nomination please either encourage her to start a new party or, if she must remain loyal to the Democrat Party that has thumped her and Bill, write-in her name on the ballot. She may very well win if we all do just do that. Also, as soon as I vote in the KY primary on May 20th, I'm going to go directly and change from a life-long Democrat (55) to Independent. I have had it with our Party. Rise, Hillary, Rise and stay in to the end because Obama will be exposed for the real "empty and dangerous suit" he is. Keep the faith Hillary supporters. We can still do this and save America the land we love, not the Democratic Party.

For those that want to talk about radical friendships,`et's be realistic-which of the three candidates is most likely to have friends that were 1960's hippies and radicals? HILLARY CLINTON! Bill & Hillary were college students during this period of Anti-War Movements and the rise of the Women's Movement. Many who made up the Clinton Administration would have been teens and college students during this era. Many who presently make up her presidential campaign, those in their late 50s - 60s would have been most active and vocal during that era. If the media were fair, they'd be pointing out ALL of that age group in Clinton and McCain's campaigns of that age group--one would surely find a legion of old, graying seniors, that were former long-haired, dope smoking, peacenik, anti-war HIPPIES.

Posted by: ALB | May 10, 2008 11:31 AM

Like Profco above, I find "Oy veh" in the headline inappropriate.

A Zionist myself, I am well aware of the many times that Palestinian leaders have gone out of their way to promote hate and violence, despite (or because of?) American and Israeli efforts to establish a modus vivendi. Senator Clinton undoubtedly remembers how Yasser Arafat's wife took advantage of the First Lady's participation at the opening of a public works project to spread vicious lies, and Hamas saw Israel's unilateral withdrawal from Gaza as an opportunity NOT to make life for their own fellow citizens better, but rather to make it worse.

BUT, even Joe Lieberman (and "No Obama Fan") should recognize and realize that the religious nutcases with whom John McCain has surrounded himself support Israel NOT because they like Jews or Israelis or Israel, but rather because they see the existence of the State of Israel as an essential precursor to their anticipated Second Coming, the ending of the world as we know it and the conversion of Jews. Is Israel any safer now than it was before the Iraq war began?

Frankly, Obama was not my first, or second, or third choice for nominee, but Senator Clinton has lost her bearings almost as much as John McCain. And so Obama gets my vote. As a Democrat in the White House, he will undoubtedly get all the scrutiny from the "mainstream media" and from the Republicans in Congress that has been so abysmally lacking for the White House's current occupant.

I'm a jew, and frankly I don't care about supporting Israel, although I do understand why we should. Obama will help restore our nation to its place in the world, which has hopefully not been irreparably damaged by Darth Cheney and his band of merry morons. That will help Israel.

Jews in this country aren't anything but white niggas anyway, which is why you don't see a jewish presidential candidate. Then again, Joe Lieberman is an embarrassment to jews, who believe in war only when pushed to it.

I think the problem with discussion of Israel is that it is so hyperbolic - and many people approach the issue with such hatred and bias that it is hard not to take a defensive posture on the issue. I only really feel comfortable criticizing Israel among people who support its basic rights.

I was a Clinton supporter and I am now taking a very hard look at Obama - I want to believe him, because in general I want to believe he is the genuine article - if he is he could be one of the best Presidents we have ever had.

My problem is the company he keeps - Rev Wright, some of these left-wing pseudo-intellectuals and armchair generals who are "objective" in the sense they have never lived under the constant threat of annihilation.

I am also concerned about exactly what both Wright and the Hamas spokesman said - its the political season and he is just saying what he has to.

Obama seems soft on Iran - my girlfriend is Iranian, and she knows what that regime is like - crazy like a fox and aggressive as hell - look at what is happening in Lebanon now.

Diplomacy with them has to be backed by a big stick and the will to wield it. I don't want another war - but I also don't want a president who will get pushed around - and what I want to see from Obama is that he will push back HARD if needed.

oh - and the self-loathing Jew at the top of this comments page has earned my disrespect and contempt - if you hate yourself that much buddy just end it all and put us out of your misery.

Good, now that we've established who's a Democrat and who's a Republican, we can start to get a head count. I don't care if you don't want to vote for Obama. The majority in the Democratic Party will soon have voted for him as established by the party rules. You may vote for whomever you like. But don't threaten me that you will vote for McCain before you accept the Democratic Party. I guess you just switched parties. People do it every day. Goodbye.

Posted by: majorteddy | May 10, 2008 10:01 PM

Israel and Palestine do not concern America. Jews should move to Israel if they care about it so much.

Posted by: Matthew | May 11, 2008 7:02 AM

I am a Jewish Democrat and I support Hillary Clinton. But let's not forget that years ago Jews highly doubted HRC's support of Israel. In 2000, she only got about 55% of the Jewish vote in her first run for for the Senate - that's about 25% LESS than most Democrats get. Hillary earned the trust of Jewish voters and so will Obama. If Obama gets the nomination, I will vote for him and encourage all my Jewish family members and friends to do the same thing. They are not crazy for Obama, but they don't want McCain in there.

Posted by: Russell | May 12, 2008 12:15 AM

I, also, thank you profco for pointing out the incorrectness of Akers use of Oy Vey. When I first read the title of her article, I thought the article was going to be about Obama being trouble for Jews and Israel. As I read the article, it became clear that the title made no sense in relation to the content.

To all of you naysayers about Obama I say you are either simply posting to try and stir up arguments, ill informed, or rigid thinkers for whom anyone thinking and acting outside of a narrowly defined box is too threatening for you to even contemplate.

By the way Katie and Mary O'Bryan, Malley has been just marginally involved as one of a hundred or so consultants to Obama. His contact with Hamas was required as part of his job and in no way related to Obama.

However, on the other hand we have this tidbit: "McCain's first major appointment upon winning the Republican nomination for President was Doug Goodyear, an Arizona PR consultant with just one foreign client... Myanmar" Wasn't McCain just commenting to Katie Couric during an interview that Myanmar has a "very bad government".

I have been in Israel, and my brother lived there for a time. I do not support all of Israel's policies and I only have a small taste of what it is like to live in a very small country surrounded by other countries who not only openly speak of destroying one's country, but keep attempting to do so.

All of the above being said, as an American Jew yes I want the President of the USA to support Israel. But I do not think blind support is wise and I would hope that the President of the USA could help broker a lasting peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians that is fair to both.

I believe Barack Obama to be an extraordinary human being, who, in the work he has been doing, embodies the philosophy of Tikkun Olam. To have such a person as President of our wonderful nation
would be quite something. To my way of thinking, Obama is a real Mentsh.

Why will Obama continue to go to that racist church, that practices Black
Theology from the writing of Marxist James H. Cone...?

have you read this?..........this is what his church teaches to his daughters on
Sundays..........these are the writings of James Cones - you can look it up -

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the
goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people,
then he is a murderer and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is
to kill gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will
accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white
enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power which is the
power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at
their disposal. Unless God is participating in his holy activity, we must reject
his love."

Do Not Trust Obama...

{JERUSALEM - Sen. Barack Obama's Chicago church reprinted a manifesto by Hamas
that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right
of Israel to exist and compared the terror group's official charter - which
calls for the murder of Jews - to America's Declaration of Independence.

The Hamas piece was published on the "Pastor's Page" of the Trinity United
Church of Christ newsletter reserved for Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose
anti-American, anti-Israel remarks landed Obama in hot water, prompting the
presidential candidate to deliver a major race speech earlier this week.

The revelation follows a recent WND article quoting Israeli security officials
who expressed "concern" about Robert Malley, an adviser to Obama who has
advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the
terrorist group.

In his July 22, 2007, church bulletin, Wright reprinted an article by Mousa
Abu Marzook, identified in the newsletter as a "deputy of the political bureau
of Hamas."

According to senior Israeli security officials, Marzook, who resides in Syria
alongside Hamas chieftain Khaled Meshaal, is considered the "brains" behind
Hamas, designing much of the terror group's policies and ideology. Israel
possesses what it says is a large volume of specific evidence that Marzook has
been directly involved in calling for or planning scores of Hamas terrorist
offensives, including deadly suicide bombings. He was also accused of attempting
to set up a Hamas network in the U.S.

Obamas' College Trip to Pakistan

One of the lesser reported revelations of Obama's San Francisco reverie is
that he went on a college trip to Pakistan (during the period of the
establishment of the Mujahideen "training camps" (against the Soviets at that
time))...does anybody remember the The Buffalo Six?...the Lackawanna Six? It was
their little "college trip" to Pakistan that got them arrested.

But I'm sure Obama's trip was completely innocent...that he exercised the same
stellar judgement in picking out people there to meet and greet as he has here
in picking out his role models (Jeremny Wright),political passage mentors (Bill
Ayers) and land deal advisors (Antoin "Tony" Rezko).

"I knew what Sunni and Shia was [sic] before I joined the Senate Foreign
Relations Committee."

OBAMA is standing in front of the camera himself for 52 seconds explaining how
he will DISARM
the USA.

What we are talking about here IS NOT about politics and the differing
views concerning issues.....this is about the potential literal destruction of
this country by our enemies and our inability to defend ourselves against those
attacks.

This is a very short (52 seconds) video by Barak Obama in his own words
about how he plans to destroy our defense capabilities if elected.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?=dl32Y7wDVDs

NOW PUT THIS TOGETHER WITH THIS !

"While visiting that mercurial miscreant Libyan strongman Col. Muammar Qaddafi,
Farrakhan and Wright, struck a deal which secured millions of dollars from Libya
to lobby
for the secession of part of the United States. The goal is the formation of a
separate black nation on the North American Continent replete with a 500,000 man
army and nuclear weapons. "

JIHAD !!!

Dorn worked with Michelle Obama and introduced her to Obama !

Ayers and Obama connection goes deeper than what Obama and the mainstream media
has been saying. Obama and Ayers have a long-standing working relationship. Not
only did Obama sit on the Woods Foundation (1999 - 2002) board but he worked for
Ayers;Obama was Director over at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (1995 - 2003)
for eight years which Ayers was a co-founder. Larry Johnson, spells it all out
for us over on his website. A "must" read if you want to be well informed about
Senator Obama and his relatioship with Ayers. Mr. Murtagh also said that Obama
sat on an educational council ("Leadership Council" ) of the Chicago Public
Schools Education Fund (Ayers father and brother also were members of this
council). Another interesting website addresses this issue. Murtagh also said
that Michelle Obama (1988 -1991) and Ayers' wife Dorn (1984 - 1988) worked in
the same law firm and Dorn introduced Michelle to Obama. Rumor as it that it was
Dorn who set-up Obama's first fundrasier (1995) in Chicago (re:Obama in Ayers
house).

Obama "Just Lies" "Just Lies"...

Nadhmi Auchi, a man with several connections to former Iraqui dictator Saddam
Hussein, is the man. It was also reported that a company connected to Mr.
Auchi''s wife lent money to an Obama fundraiser back in May of ''05. The
disturbing fact is that the money that eventually ends up in Obama control can
be traced back to Saddam Hussein. The dictator''s funds had been used to buy him
favor around the world, and Auchi--a close supporter and financer of a failed
coup to bring Saddam to power--was known to receive funds.

Another connection that Obama and Auchi may share is distasteful to think about.
Pictures show that Auchi met with the Illinois senate president Emil Jones.
Although Obama has no memory of ever meeting Auchi, it is rumored that Obama
"coincidentally" dropped in to a hotel in which Auchi was being honored. An aide
of Obama confirmed his presence at the hotel, but said, "We do not remember
individual people." You don''t remember a man like Auchi at an event that
honored him? Strange. Later in 2005, Auchi was denied entrance to the United
States. It is believed he was trying to gain a visa through several Illinois
politicians. Obama denies he tried to help him.

Obama Supports "Live Birth Abortions"
Murder !!

Barack Obama is on record as orchestrating the defeat of Illinois' Born Alive
Infants Protection Act. (Jill Stanek has documented this extensively.) While it
is obvious that everyone in the pro-life community finds this sufficiently
repulsive to vote for whoever (or whatever) is running against Obama, no
self-respecting pro-choice person is going to stand with Obama on this either.
Jerrold Nadler (D-NY, one of the most liberal members of Congress) said of the
Federal version of this legislation, "There is no such thing as a right to a
live birth abortion."

DID YOU ALSO SEE THE NEW MAY 19TH ISSUE OF GLOBE? BIG HEADLINES! "OBAMA CAUGHT
UP IN GAY MURDER SCANDAL!" AND STILL THESE MORON SUPER DELEGATES KEEP ENDORSING
HIM! EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS SHOULD HAVE THIS INFORMATION FAXED OR E-MAILED TO
THEM. THIS IS A DISGRACE THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KEPT IN THE DARK
ABOUT THIS STORY!

Yes i have seen it. Here's the link to the Globe article if you haven't actually

ATLAS EXCLUSIVE: OBAMA'S PASTOR WRIGHT!WHERE IS THE KATRINA MONEY?

Bill Warner has been doing some serious investigating on Obama's spiritual
mentor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Back on September 19, 2005, Trinity United
Church of Christ ran a plea for cash on their bulletin. They were directly
taking contributions/donations for "Hurricane Katrina" demanding that the check
be made payable to Trinity United Church of Christ. "We are not taking clothing
or non-perishable items". JUST CASH....why not the Red Cross as the "Pay to", who
monitored the money, where did all the cash go, who monitored Rev. Wright and
his non-profit church ?

Due to the overwhelming response to the needs resulting from Hurricane
Katrina, Trinity United Church of Christ is not accepting any clothing or
non-perishable items. The church is accepting all monetary donations, however.
Please make all checks or money orders payable to Trinity United Church of
Christ. Write Trinity United Church of Christ on the "Pay to" line. On the line
located next to the word "Memo" in the bottom left corner of the check, please
write Katrina Relief. Mark your donation on Line 99 of your giving envelope.
Thank you for your understanding and most importantly for your gifts and acts of
kindness! (more here)

In 2007/2008. the Trinity United Church built a $1 million mansion for Wright
(where did all this cash come from?)

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out,
what better way to start than at the highest level - through the

President of the United States, one of their own! The

Bible says 'He will come from among you!'

Please forward to everyone you know.

Would you want this man leading our country?

He claims to be a Christian, but we all have heard Rev, Wright, who was trained
in Islamic Studies, and the church is dedicated to the Black Value system and
Black Theology based on the writings of Racist, Marxist, James H. Cone...
Example:

have you read this?..........this is what his church teaches to his daughters on
Sundays..........these are the writings of James Cones - you can look it up -

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the
goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people,
then he is a murderer and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is
to kill gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will
accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white
enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power which is the
power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at
their disposal. Unless God is participating in his holy activity, we must reject
his love."

MAY WE ALL PRAY FOR WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT AND PRAY FOR EACH OTHER

AS WE MAKE THIS DECISION OF A LIFETIME! OUR LIVES, CHILDREN AND

GRANDCHILDREN'S LIVES WILL BE CHANGED FOREVER BECAUSE OF OUR CHOICE THIS

ELECTION. MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL!

God help us if this man (Obama) is elected!! It is all stated in the Bible and
it will happen sooner or later.

This is from Darlene Millican, wife of the pastor of Trinity Bapt. Church here
in Sun City .

I have felt for sometime now that Obama is the one person that 'Frightens Me'. I
believe and the Bible has warned us that 'A man will come from the East that
will be

charismatic in nature and have proposed solutions for all our problems and his
rhetoric will attract many supporters!'

When will our pathetic Nation quit turning their back on God and understand
that this man is 'A Muslim'....First, Last and always....and we are AT WAR with

the Muslim Nation, whether our bleeding-heart, secular, Liberal friends believe
it or not. This man fits every description from the Bible of the 'Anti-Christ'!

I'm just glad to know that there are others that are frightened by this man!

Who is Barack Obama?

Very interesting and something that should be considered in your choice.

...this is very scary to

think of what lies ahead of us here in our own United States.

Who is Barack Obama?

States...better heed this and pray about it and share it.

snopes .com http://snopes.com>' confirms this is factual. Check for yourself.

Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack claims (questionable) born in
Honolulu, Hi

Hawaii , to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM

from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from

Wichita , Kansas

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii . When Obama was two years old,
his parents

divorced. His father returned to Kenya . His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a
RADICAL

Muslim from Indonesia . When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocate to
Indonesia . Obama attended ;a MUSLIM school in Jakarta . He also spent two years
in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim . He is quick to
point out that, 'He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic
school.'

Per a Muslim Cleric you are a Muslim, if your birth father was a Muslim.

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that that he is not
a radical.

Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was
temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to

Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over
his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced
his stepson to Islam. Obama aka Barry Soetoro was enrolled in a Wahabi school
in Jakarta .

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists

who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically

expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United
States , Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an
attempt to downplay
his Muslim background. And we now know that his church is NOT Christian as we know it.They preach hate and racial divide, even now with their new minister.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he
show any

reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts,
Obama

turns his back to the flag and slouches. Do you want someone like this as
your PRESIDENT?

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

To Larry Saltzman at the top of this column-I feel sorry for you! As far as Obama is concerned-I don't believe he is anti-semitic,but I'm afraid he would not be strong enough to deal with the fanatics that hate BOTH Israel and America.John McCain's the right choice.
