Hah! You saw the Mexican national team a few weeks ago refuse to shake hands with the US after a friendly? You saw Marquez take out Cobi at the World Cup in Korea/Japan? Wait until you see what Chivas do when DCU knock them out of the CCC.

Marquez trying to kill Cobi was a highlight of the Cup.

For those of us who didn't see the Inter-Valencia game, can someone explain what sparked the melee, who was directly invovled, etc? Until I know more, all I'll say is that I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to see that such an egregious case of poor sportsmanship involved an Italian team.

It might have been Inter, an Italian team, involved in the brawl, but whomever watches Italian football knows that the last thing Inter has on their squad are Italian players.

Valencia and Inter had the exact number of Italian players on the pitch during their game on Tuesday: 1 each.

Btw, there was some bad blood between Inter and Valencia from their recent matchups in the UEFA and Champions Cup, Inter always having had the upper hand. So it was kinda normal that the bad blood would boil over eventually.

You know why the Inter players were so angry.

The long-standing unspoken agreement among European footballers that, when pushing and shoving and insulting each's others heritage, don't touch the hair and definitely not the face (Zizou excluded, of course).

I'm not sure what our young friend from Valencia should be most embarrassed about: that he, a friggin unused sub, sucker punched a guy and broke his nose; or that he was caught on tape running away so fast and hiding like a complete sally.
