There was an abundance of AC Milan-Manchester United video highlights from which to choose, but I offer you this interesting one. And be sure to read this game account.

Nice set of highlights!!! They're in Dutch, right???

Isn't the "cliff" behind the goal line an obvious danger to the players? Am I missing something?

Having watched the match, reading the re-cap really captures the atmosphere. When can we expect that type/style of writeup for an important match involving an MLS team? (no offense to Goff intended) I fear the answer is when that guy shows up in LA to cover db7.

Nothing like hearing "Kaka, Kaka, Kaka"

His first goal embarrasses Van der Saar. His second the rest of the Man U defense! He made them look like a weekend warrior over 30 team.

Great 2nd finish by Rooney!

Can't wait for the return leg

Nederlands, not Dutch.

The article from The Independent was nicely written and I enjoyed reading it, but more for the use of language than the account of the match. I may be showing my age, but I expect a game report to inform me about the game, rather than the literary skills of the writer. One had to wait until paragraph 9 to read about the first goal.

Goff excepted, too many reporters at the Post and elsewhere do the Naipaul thing before getting to the point (Naipaul goes on for pages describing the grass during his walk in the countryside).

I was surprised by Rooney, while wearing red with gold numbers. Usually, when he's in the England version of that kit, he can't find the back of the net to save his mother.

ESPN should hire the Muppets' Swedish Chef to call matches...better than O'Brien.

What a rally by Rooney. I hate ManYoo, love Rooney, though...

Who's everyone picking today, Chelsea - Liverpool? I'll go 1-1, with goals by Drogba and Stevie G.

Kaka's second goal was brillant. i dont know if he knew he was going to knock them both down, but it looks so pretty. thank you rooney for helping us out, ManU going to take care of it.

i got 2 - 0 chelsea tonight.

I'm a Man Utd supporter, so I'm over the moon at the result. Kaka did indeed make the defense look foolish, but look at it: no Rio, no Vidic, no Gazza ... 2 goals given up. Not THAT bad, really; Milan are class.

I'm really pleased with Fletcher and Scholes and Carrick. They bossed midfield in the second half. They ran it there; I don't know that Keano would have done better. That second half reminded me of why I love this game, and United specifically. Up and down the pitch, fantastic pace and great heart shown (and shone). It's the same kind of spirit that United had in '99, winning the Champion's League in stoppage time. I can't wait for the second leg.

No one mentions that ManU was only able to control the midfield once Gattusso had to go off injured?

That was the big difference.

With that seive that ManUre calls a defense, I would not be so sure ManUre makes it to Athens.
