Morning Kickaround

*MLS tonight: Real Salt Lake (2-3-2) at Colorado (3-4, first place!), 9:30 p.m. ET (ESPN2).

*The Celtic family loses Tommy Burns.

*The transcript from my online chat yesterday. (Ignore the reference to Martin Palermo being from Mexico -- brain freeze.)

*Joel Senior, a Howard University sophomore midfielder, was among 25 players called into Jamaica national team training camp this week.

*DCU boss Kevin Payne will make an appearance on Comcast SportsNet's "Washington Post Live" today. The show airs from 5-6 p.m. and replays at 11 p.m.

Back soon with a Josh Gros update.

I'll end this thread with Boca 2, Atlas 2 (Copa Libertadores quarterfinals, first leg):

Josh Gros update. Intriguing. Might our tireless wide midfielder be considering a return? How cool would that be.

Hope the update is that Josh is back.

Gros (along with Lubos Kubik) are assistants for the U23 team that Nowak is taking to a tournament in France next week.

United's former early draft pick Bryan Arguez in on the roster as well, and could earn a spot on the Olympic team (but he's still young and eligible for the 2009 U20 World Cup).

Back to Gros, he does have assistant coaching/training "experience" as I think he helped out at a local high school during the 2007 season.

Hey Goff! Give some props to Zenit! They dominated Rangers and scored two quality goals.
Вперёд за Питер!

Normally I wouldn't urge anyone to pay attention to the Rapids or RSL. But they've managed to find ways to dislike each other & the match should be more entertaining than simply seeing which coach can whine more about the refs.

Good day, just wanted to know where i can get some info about UNITED FANS and if there is a specific section @ HDC here in southern Cali, and if any attending the game this weekend?

Wouldn't it be great if he announces his resignation . . .

About 40 people are heading out to LA for the game - think they will be in section 138.

Second that motion. I managed to see the whole game and Rangers looked like DC vs. Chicago last week.
