Pick of the day: Alt-weekly's take on debt collection

Today's pick of the day, like yesterday's, was something I came across on Twitter, which in addition to being a complete waste of time has also become a great reading room--a sort of on-line library where everyone has a recommendation. Anyway, today's pick, which was tweeted by @longreads is of particular interest to me because it's about debt collection, an industry I spent a lot of time researching for a story that will be published soon. Meantime, enjoy the piece, which tells the story of a consumer who goes after the collectors who were hired to go after him.
