Pick of the Day: The power shvitz


Official Washington is an anthropologist's dream, with its power-packed dinner parties, hideaway offices and parade of entourages.

Jason Horowitz, a reporter for The Washington Post's Style section, has discovered a new enclave for the powerful: the sauna at the Finnish Embassy, where press attache Kori Mokko invites a cross-section of bureaucrats, analysts and journalists to strip down and schmooze in the comfy confines of a 190 degree sauna. .
