Story pick: The homeless homeless advocate
I've friended Eric Sheptock on Facebook. No, I don't know him personally, but we have 17 friends in common. We live in the same city, and with more than 4,600 Facebook friends, he's a pretty popular guy. After reading Nathan Rott's wonderful profile of the advocate for the homeless ("the homeless homeless advocate," as he says) who uses social media to advocate for fair housing, I feel like I know him.
