We questioned a few female instructors to see what the guys are missing, but now we are looking for your feedback. What tips have you received from a female golf instructor? Golf With a Social LIfe

If you are seeking a new approach to a driving range and way to beat lifeless balls after work, TopGolf may be the place for you. Reporter John Riley said, "By adding technology, social interaction and beer, the creators of this driving range have made an interesting hybrid of entertainment and sport: a bowling alley with tiny white balls." However, if you are a seasoned golfer the scoring of this game may seem a bit annoying as Lynne Dubin mentions in this interview. var movieSrc = "http://media.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/mmedia/player/player2.swf?whichMode=normal&justify=center&playad=yes&mediatype=mp3&postdir=metro&postvideo=050406-17s&cuesfile=none&autoplay=no&starttime=0&endtime=0&largerver=none&image=050406-17s&playlistxml=none" ; //URL OF WHERE .SWF MOVIE IS PUBLISHED var movieWidth = "427" ; //FLASH MOVIE AND BACK-UP GRAPHIC WIDTH var movieHeight = "300" ; //FLASH MOVIE AND BACK-UP GRAPHIC HEIGHT var backupGraphic = "no" ; // If you have a backup graphic "yes" or "no" var graphicSrc = "" ; var graphicLink = "" ; //requiredVersion: Change this to 8 to test your...

Playing With History

While playing on the grounds of Laurel Hill Golf Club, you can't help but feel like you are being watched, especially on holes 10 through 14, which are rimmed by guard towers and fences. The images tell the story, from prison to parkland. Constructed on the grounds of the former Lorton Correctional Facility, the 18-hole course does not run from its past. Hole No. 15's terrain was formerly the prison guards' shooting and tear gas practice range and just outside the 7th and 18th fairways, you'll find remnants of the two former Nike missile sites that were active during the Cold War. Have you had the opportunity to play at Laurel Hill Golf Club or want to know whether it is worth a visit? Join the conversation or post a review....
