With Feb. 5 Focus, Huckabee Skips Fla. Ads

Following a crippling loss in South Carolina, the campaign of former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee looks to be reassessing its strategy for winning the GOP nomination. Aides announced that the press-friendly campaign would no longer fly reporters with them effective today, but more importantly, the candidate himself told reporters aboard that plane Monday night that his campaign would not air ads in Florida, the delegate-rich state with a Jan 29 primary.
Since the South Carolina primary, Huckabee has focused his attention on Georgia, where he will appear today at an antiabortion rally. The candidate appears to be shifting his attention to a group of Southern states that will vote on Feb. 5 and ceding Florida to the other leading GOP candidates.
"I don't want to abandon Florida yet," Huckabee told reporters Monday on a late-night flight from Orlando to Atlanta, according to the Associated Press. "We have not come to the conclusion that Florida is out of play."
But he added, "We really need to conserve as much as we can" for TV and radio ads in the Feb. 5 states. He said his campaign will evaluate the Florida situation day by day, but has concluded it is too expensive to run ads there.

Yeah, the all-caps is very convincing there, Sgt. Dan.
"WE ARE A NATION OF MORALES"
Si, me llamo Morales. Soy de San Jose. Tengo muchos parientes en EU!
"WE ARE A NATION OF GOD!"
No, we're a nation of people. Quite a few don't believe in this "god" critter. Perhaps one of the reasons that Huckabee is about to drop out of the race is that he wasn't quite bright enough to figure out that even a lot of people who do are getting pretty damned tired of having people like him -- and you -- telling us how religious we ought to be. You know, there was a time in this country where religion was a private matter, not a basis by which people were judged and guys with guns yelled at us about such things. Just sayin'.
"IF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WHO BELIEVE IN THIS SAME AMERICA, GOES OUT AND VOTES IN EVERY SINGLE STATE.."
OK, Dan, if you're going to start speaking for all us god-fearin', anti-immigrant Americans, maybe you could at least take the time to learn about our political system. See, we each only get to vote once in one state, regardless of what we believe. That's the difference between religion and reality; the law here in America is based on the latter of the two.
"OUR FOUNDING FATHERS MADE IT THAT WAY FOR US SO MANY YEARS AGO!"
Our founding fathers were mostly Deists and Universalists. Thomas Jefferson took a razor to the bible and cut out all the mystical bits; he didn't believe in supernatural stuff because he was a man of science. Ditto for Franklin. You might want to look into something called The Treaty of Tripoli sometimes as well. You won't, though. People who type in all caps and yell their Reconstructionist nonsense never do.
"IF YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE, GO VOTE AND TAKE A STAND FOR AN AMERICA OF VALUES."
Hey, guess what? People who disagree with Mike Huckabee's preacher, "I'm God's chosen candidate" nonsense still have values. You, Sgt. Dan, don't get to decide what the right values are for everyone else. That's insulting, and it's also part of the reason why Huckabee is pretty much a dead horse in this race. We're pretty sick of being told that our values have to come out of a church.
"GO VOTE FOR MIKE HUCKABEE! TAKE PEOPLE WITH YOU AND LETS MAKE A STAND!"
Sit down, Sgt. Dan. You're not helping your candidate. In fact, you're pretty damned embarrassing to many REAL Americans.

If all of us who share these views with Governor Mike Huckabee, and who know like I do, that he should be our President would just get up and take a stand, WE CAN MAKE AMERICA STRONG AGAIN!
* WE ARE A NATION OF MORALES
* WE ARE A NATION OF HUMANITY
* WE ARE A NATION OF FREEDOM
* WE ARE A NATION OF DIGNITY
* WE ARE A NATION OF GOD!
WE CAN TAKE AMERICA BACK! WE OUT-NUMBER THE OPPOSING CRITICS 50 TO 1 IN THIS NATION!
STAND WITH ME, STAND WITH MIKE AND LETS TOGETHER TELL THE REST OF THE WORLD THAT AMERICA IS OURS ONCE AGAIN!
IF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WHO BELIEVE IN THIS SAME AMERICA, GOES OUT AND VOTES IN EVERY SINGLE STATE, WE WILL BE THAT NATION AGAIN! OUR FOUNDING FATHERS MADE IT THAT WAY FOR US SO MANY YEARS AGO!
DON'T BELIEVE THE ANTI-HUCKABEE ATTACKS PAID FOR AND BLOGGED BY THE RICH CANDIDATES.
IF YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE, GO VOTE AND TAKE A STAND FOR AN AMERICA OF VALUES.
GO VOTE FOR MIKE HUCKABEE! TAKE PEOPLE WITH YOU AND LETS MAKE A STAND!

Huckabee should help to broker a team effort. McCain is much more competant as the Secretary of Defense, than he would ever be as the President, and without the Presidential distractions, would be able to accomplish much more! That puts him into the White House, and at the White House! As the one actually responsible for the Nation's security, not the Statesman acting like it!
That, leaves only one Contender for President. Mitt Romney is a Class Act! As the Leading Statesman, he could improve our stance Worldwide!
Huck, earn your Back-up Statesman role, and broker the best solution to the current mess! All of the Candidates are meant for the White House, just not everyone is meant to be Quarterback! Some need to recieve, others need to protect, some to carry the ball!
TEAM UP!

Mike Huckabee truly understands that one man's floor is another man's ceiling. Mike Huckabee is nowhere near the campaign floor that he came from.
Go Huckabee, ALL THE WAY!
