Kucinich Withdraws From Race

A day after issuing an "urgent personal appeal" for donations to fight a tough primary battle against four challengers, Cleveland, Ohio, Rep. Dennis Kucinich announced this afternoon that he plans to end his quixotic bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Kucinich's campaign released a statement that he will begin "transitioning out of the Democratic Presidential primary race" tomorrow, when he makes a formal announcement in Cleveland.
"I want to continue to serve in Congress," the six-term congressman told the Cleveland Plain Dealer this afternoon. "There is a point at which you just realize that you, look, you accept it, that it isn't going to happen and you move on."
Kucinich's presidential quest has become a campaign issue in his Cleveland district, which his opponents charge him with neglecting.

Thanks. Thanks so very much to you and your fellows in the press who either ignore or bash the only candidate with the courage to stand up for the Constitution. None of the others have demonstrated the ability even to pronounce the word impeachment. In the face of the glaring abuses of international and Constitutional law that the current Administration keeps rubbing in our faces, anyone who doesn't stand for their overthrow is a traitor.

dennis kucinich was the best candidate in the field, and the only one courageous enough to speak his heart, and walk his talk.
his impeachment articles against cheney, call for a "department of peace," protest appearance recently at the CIA School of the Americas, all show his true concern for human rights and dignity.
i'd urge him to quit the Democrap party and join with other progressives to form third party voting blocks capable of reforming our fledgling form of capitalism.
i thank him for his service.

Kucinich was short and kind of funny looking. How could he be President? And, by the way, Obama is not black. He is white. Well, at least as much as he is black. His father, a black African, died when Obama was young. His mother, a white American, was with him more. But, then, "white" means only pure white, right? My, how we have progressed since Reconstruction.

At one of Bill Clinton's appearances in SC on Wednesday, an elderly black man stood up and said "black people are voting for Obama because he's black. But he can't win and he will make sure the Republicans win in November." Clinton showed "concern" while a few others nodded.
After it was over, reporters tried to get the man's name. He refused to identify himself and left with his BODYGUARD! Now, tell me. How many people attend town hall meetings with bodyguards, especially elderly black men in SC? This guy was a plant by the Clinton campaign used to continue to play the race issue.
Now can someone tell who in the past tried to scare black people from doing something?
Wasn't it called "KKK"?..........
The Clintons are now resorting to staging, having black people show up at rallies saying Obama can't win and can't help up. This is a scare tactic to steal your vote!

Exactly. I'm still going to vote for Dennis at least in the primary, which for me in California is super tuesday, 2/5.
