Just as I thought i was destined to Throw-Up in my Mouth a little, I had to witness McCain show a Lucid Moment. I swallowed it back in time-I guess I can thank the extreme editing for speeding the process up!(Though I have to wonder what wound up on the cutting room floor).
John McCain did better reporting of the event than the WaPo reporters. It WAS a very narrow victory, and ALL it demonstrated, was that the Republicans, and unfortunately MANY Moderates who could lean towards the Republicans, are split between Mitt Romney, and John McCain!
I call AGAIN, for a Unity Effort. How can the Republicans hope to heal the Polarized Division in this Country, if we cannot heal it among ourselves.
I have to concede to McCain his Base. I wish he would consider the new Strength the Vice Presidency has acquired under the "Dick" Cheney. To have the 51St. seat in the Senate, the ability to deal with the Executive Cabinet, and deal with the appointed Secretary of Defense, while hopefully appealing to many of the Evangelical Base as I had hoped Huck would have been able to do, makes McCain in my begrudging opinion, a very viable Vice Presidential choice for a Unified, strong Republican Ticket.
That said, I hope Mitt Romney also realizes that if McCain does maintain his narrow advantage, that HE might need a Financial and Business-minded Co-Pilot, and will try to target the Democrats more harshly than his opponent as well!
Politics, has ALWAYS made for strange Bedfellows! ;~)

Well, it will be McCain v. Obama, it seems.
One claims he is a dreamer and those "I have a deram" and "I have a draem" placards being held by Obama supporters on Corpus Christi TV, suggest that the dream need a program called 'No Adults Left Behind.'
The other is a proven Realist, who remained 5 1/2 years in captivity in North Vietnam. He was pulled out of a lake near Hanoi with two fractured arms and a fractured leg. Once on shore his shoulder was broken by a rifle butt and he was bayonet ted in the foot and the groin and then denied total medical treatment for 2 days.
The story of his bravery is in Wikipedia and of his ordeal by torture and refusals of early release is also there. McCain wants a renewed America also AND HE IS THE ONLY CREDIBLE CANDIDATE IN THE EYES OF AMERICA'S ADVERSARIES.
I like Obama, but this election goes way beyond who I like. It is about who is PROVEN and Osama is certainly not worried about Obama.
You can bet your a$$ that is not his view of McCain !!!

John McCain has a truly presidential quality. Cindy McCain is breathtaking! I've left the Clinton camp because: Hillary chose Celine Dion's recording as the campaign theme song (in addition to being intolerable, she's not even American!), and the way the whites of Hillary's eyes show all around the irises when she's excited is absolutely frightening. I'm voting for McCain so I can see Cindy.
