MN: Romney Leads as McCain and Huckabee Fight For Second

Early returns showed Romney in the lead and Huckabee and McCain fighting for second place.
With 18 percent of precincts reporting, Romney led with 38.2 percent of the vote, MCcain had 23.1 percent and Huckabee 22.8 percent. Ron Paul was a distant fourth with 14.9 percent.
The vote in the GOP caucuses is non-binding -- the Minneapolis Star-Tribune called it a "beauty contest" -- but the winner will at least have bragging rights when the Republican National Convention is held in St. Paul in September. Party officials predicted a record turnout of 50,000 voters -- double that of four years ago.
