UT: Romney Dominates; Obama Pulls Ahead

With more than one-third of the precincts in Utah reporting as of 11:45 p.m. EST, Barack Obama was shown to be pulling ahead in Utah, with 53 percent of the vote, compared with Hillary Clinton's 41 percent.
So far there have been absolutely no surprises on the Republican side of the primary, with Mitt Romney demonstrating a powerful lead in a state he was supposed to dominate. With 37 percent of the vote counted, Romney had 88 percent of the vote to John McCain's 6 percent. The other Republican candidates had given up on Utah long ago, as Romney is considered a native son, did extensive fundraising in the state and courted the large population of his fellow Mormons.
