Bowie State may have been a "historically black" university, but if one were to judge by the photo above it's definitely about 88% white now.
Of course, Bowie State is *still* a majority-black college. It's just that Hillary doesn't have any of the crossover appeal that Obama does, hence the lack of melanin in the crowd. Looks like the black students have been pretty well educated there, since they're too smart to be played like that by the Clintons. Bravo!

Why so divisive? The last several times we sent a no-decision to the DNC, the Republicans won the White House.
An Obama-Clinton ticket would be a winner. Combine Obama's ability to inspire with Clinton's knowledge of how the (Washington) plumbing works, plus their experiences and individually strong voter sentiments, and you have a ticket that would win the White House.

Hi. I am writing about the misleding print and broadcast news media organizations covering the 2008 US presidential campaigns.
I am in shear disbelief on the poor and misleding coverage that the various media outlets have given to Sen. Obama. I read three to four newspapers daily and follow multiple broadcast media networks.
No matter where I turned or looked every mainstream media outlet tried to minimize the five for five weekend victories that Sen. Obama won (by very wide margins) over this past weekend.
It sickeneds me and many of my collegues on the focus of Sen. Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, McCain, Huckalbee. Even Gov. Martin O'Malley's referred to Sen. Obama as " the other gentleman".
I know American Media outlets would rather focus on O.J. or Mike Tyson, or some "black youth" violence. What ever happened to Barry Bonds? Is the idea of having a smart, educated, experienced, world known author, unifying presidential canidate that happens to be a positive role model and a Black Man too much?
Thank you for inspiring the youth of American to do the "Right Thing".
Are you being pressured by N.O.W or Bill Clinton, BIG OIL,or the GOP?
Mike

Anyone notice how there are a ton of white faces in that crowd? Not what one would expect if she was speaking at a black college ... except that she has pretty much lost the black vote (and the youth vote, and the educated vote).

What the hell kind of report is that? No sneering? No simpering, snide potshots at the Senator and her husband. And who the hell is Oveta Wiggins? She'll obviously never make it in the WaPo bigs with that sort of professional doing her job attitude. Someone get her the memo, stat!

Hillary is finished. She is spending time and money going after votes she has no chance of getting. As the Brits say, "It will all end in tears". How nasty will things have to get before she realizes Obama has won?

cityjim,
Who would want both Clintons under your name on the ticket? Hillary has a bright future as a Senator, perhaps as Sec. of Health & Human Services. There's no chance in hell of Obama putting her on his ticket.
