Last week another major paper stated that the Clinton campaign was going to throw everything but the kitchen sink at Obama.

With both this interview with the press, and all the new 'attack' ad, it now seems that not only are we seeing the kitchen sink but the 'gunk' from the 'trap' of its plumbing.....

And, all of this shows how committed Senator Clinton is to make certain that the Democrats retake the White House & a WORKING majority in the Congress.

Once again, in my opinion, Senator Clinton shows that she will say and do anything to get what she has felt entitled to.

If she is such a great candidate, where is all her papers from her White House tenure, the tax returns?

As Dee Dee Meyers a former Senator Clinton staffer while she was in the White House said Saturday on the Tim Russert show, she had experienced how 'papers' has a way of going in many different directions when released. And, that Senator Clinton should release her tax returns.

Her greatest supporter in Ohio, Govenor Strickland won the office of govenor by smearing his opponent for NOT releasing his tax returns....

Sure, this is big news, and all of Clinton's allegations and insinuations are true, except that:

Austan Goolsbee was not an emissary from the Obama campaign, but a professor from the University of Chicago, who was not authorized to share any messages from the campaign.

Goolsbee agrees that the memo cited by Clinton is a "clumsy, inaccurate portrayal of the conversation."

Obama has always said in public and in private that he supports free AND FAIR trade. Goolsbee's discussion with the consul general in Chicago, Georges Rioux, did nothing to contradict Obama's support for free AND FAIR trade.

As always, the Clinton campaign misses no opportunity to twist people's words and distort the record.

Also, here's a reality check, a campaign does heat-up the rhetoric on issues and I think everyone understands that. So the questions I have for Clinton supporters is, is this all you have?

Obama's a complete QUESTION MARK. Take away his campaign manager, David Axelrod (the inventor of failed governor Duval Patrick) and there's nothing there.

But the people in Ohio read the news, and can also imagine what Canadians and Mexicans are thinking, which is to say that all this talk about how the NAFTA glass is half-empty has probably ruffled alot of feathers.

And so maybe Obama was trying to privately assuage any hurt feelings, so as to not cause damage to the trading going on now with Canada.

Why does Hillary always get a pass when she accuses Obama of doing the very same thing she herself has done - make indirect contact to reassure Canada in the midst of a sincere review and challenge of NAFTA.

When I read the heading for this article, my initial reaction was that Obama was stepping on Bill Clinton's deal with a Canadian to setup uranium mining deals with one of the old soviet bloc countries Ukraine. That was a deal Bill Clinton as an ex-president helped the Canadian businessman gain. He went to Ukraine and used his name and power recognition to make deals for businesses in Canada.

Hillary has just turned out to be a cry baby. She cries foul for everything including when Obama farts even though her own actions stinks far more.

So what's the big deal? This is small potatoes and easy to diffuse if there is nothing to hide. Clinton's campaign responded to the hint of 'indirect' contact by telling CTV they had immunity to publicly reveal the person's name because she had no knowledge about it. She is being transparent about it and Obama not so much. Why?

I have read a number of Obama supporters posts who just use words like "Billary" "Shriery" "lier". These people are disrespect full to a great leader of this country and are wrong. If anyone is a lier here it would appear to be Obama. How dishonest can you get? You tell Ohio that HRC is responsible for NAFTA and you tell Canada that it is just political position. Obama is a dishonest scammer. I am also amazed that in this day and age men are voting against her becasue she is a women. Do they feel threatened by a women? I would truly like to know why the News Media has not publicized the Peter Paul FRAUD case that Hillary is currently involved in. Actually it's Hillary and Bill.

Regardless of what words were exchanged here, the Obama campaign flat out denied it and even falsely claimed the story had been retracted. Now, with a "leaked" memo of the meeting, the story changes into that of a meeting happening only there was miscommunication. Be ignorant if you want to, that's your right, but to believe it's some kind of smear attempt by a different candidate or foreign government is nothing short of creating a conspiracy theory to brush facts under the rug. Obama lied! If he didn't know about the meeting, then his incredible "ready on day one" judgment for hiring Goolsbee comes into play.

As far as the allegations about the Clinton campaign doing the same thing, there hasn't been any facts released to support it and the story making the claim even says "low level" members which suggests if it did happen it likely wasn't done with authority. In contradiction, the Obama story, with legs to stand on, directly names his cheif economic advisor (who appears to admit to a meeting after all).

I swear, when people are told the candidate they like isn't exactly honest and has the same shady background as any other politican, they act as if they just found out the world isn't flat!

When faced with allegations by CTV that her campaign had contacted the Canadian consulate 'indirectly', Hillary denied it and GAVE CTV FULL IMMUNITY to expose the name of the person who made the contact. To my knowledge, CTV has not named anyone. Can't get more transparent than that. Has anyone heard differently and if not, there is no issue of her campaign making the contact.

On the other hand, Obama flat-out denied the contact and now it is confirmed that one of his political advisors did have the meeting at the Canadian consulate in Chicago. This is a problem.

Hillary may some day be known as the President of the U.S.

But she will also have to live with the fact that she is destroying or perhaps it will read that she did in fact destroy the Democratic Party.

This party has become vitriolic.

Fellow Americans, get over the Iraq vote. The MAJORITY of the Senate voted on that resolution and, according to numerous polls at the time (research as I recommended); up to 69% of AMERICANS supported that resolution in 2002. Why? Because we let all the fear mongering about Muslims and terrorism cloud our own judgment so we could help support an agenda. Now when we see what a mistake most of us made, we lash out wherever we can. Hell, we're still letting them use fear of terrorism against us for agenda purposes (FISA and immunity for telecoms as an example)

The resolution in question wasn't even a war vote. It was to authorize military force if Iraq did not comply with weapon inspections and disarmament. The real truth is, the Bush administration (intentionally) jumped the gun and went in with military force while Iraq was complying. So who do we blame for that? How about Colin Powell, a guy I respected (even though I'm not Republican) who convincingly presented false evidence to the UN to help build support. Of course, Powell, a friend of Bush, resigned from the administration after he realized that he had been used to lie to the world. So how about Bush/Cheney? Or how about blaming we the people for letting it happen by not taking time to educate ourselves?

More proof we stopped thinking independantly and many of us still aren't. It's time we start thinking once again or this country will keep heading down the wrong path.

This story didn't come from the Clintons (in fact the Clinton's were dragged into the story and, at least as of right now, there's no evidence to support it)

This story did not come out the day prior to the election. It came out a week ago.. only you didn't choose to educate yourself so you jump to the conclusion it's a smear tactic.

And the MSM heavily exploits these stories? What world are you in? I'm a solid independant voter and currently support neither of the candidates but I can assure you that most of the Obama-related stories that show potential for truth have hardly been mentioned and definately not reported on. As I stated earlier, the MSM still mentions that he "voted against the war" which is completely false.

Realy getting desperate aren't you to support Obama no matter what. I don't care what Bill CLinton did then because he is not running for President and we have just run through 8 years of smearing aagainst the dems for not being strong enough to protect the country. Time you got over blaming Hillary for Bill's actions, and if you want NOW to have republicans continue the mantra that Obama can't even pick his own democratic person, then it is NOT what I want to listen to any longer.

Hopefully everyone read carefully what the alleged memo from the Canadian official interprets what was said. Even if what he states in that memo is perfectly accurate, which is very much up in the air, the Clinton Campaign has done a heck of a job with their "paraphrasing" to turn the comments into something entirely more ominous than what the memo indicates. This is just the latest in a long line of lies and distortions being used by Hillary Clinton and her campaign to discredit Senator Obama. What is particularly aggrevating about these tactics is that she is leading the charge for John McCain and conservative talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh in attacking the likely Democratic nominee. This is what I refer to as Clinton's "scorched earth policy". If she can't win the nomination, she will destroy the candidate who does and take her party down with her if necessary. Some have even suggested that this is exactly what the Clintons wish to do so that Hillary can launch another bid for the nomination in 2012 without having to worry about facing an incumbant Democrat in President Barrack Obama. As usual, it's all about the Clintons and may the party be damned!

And she keeps repeating these lies even though they they have been publicly denied by the Canadian embassy, the Prime Minister's spokesmen, and the minority leader in Parliament (who is calling for the firing of the person who put out these false claims). A real political scandal is brewing in Canada over this attempt by the current right-wing government to influence our Presidential primary. That is what Americans should be outraged about right now, along with Hillary Huckabee being incapable of telling the truth (who now claims she is 'just getting warmed up').
