Barack's Bracketology

By Jonathan Weisman
After toiling all day Wednesday on his bracketology, Barack Obama has revealed his politically astute picks. The final four will include the University of North Carolina, whose primary looms in seven weeks. The South region will go to Pitt, on one end of a state that votes April 22. His Midwest nod goes to a home state of sorts, Kansas, from whence his grandparents hail. The West? UCLA, Clinton country, but the land of the fundraiser. And how does it all end? According to Obama, UNC will overtake UCLA for the national title.

And Mrs. Clinton's favorite pasttime, I'm not making this up, is cleaning out her closets. Really ....
and maybe she could start by pulling this gem out for a good spring cleaning:

Huh, that's how I have mine shaping up as well...

Mr Weisman ought to be more clear the assertion of how "politically astute" the picks are, and the explanations of why, are all Weisman's. The attribution in the article is vague. I'd expect Sen Obama thought he was just picking the Final Four, not submitting to the fantasy projections of political calculation dreamed up by a childish political press.

How about this bracket - the top four seeds are: Female, Old Man, African-American Man, and an Evangelist. Semi Final match - Old Vs. Evangelical, Black vs. Female.....
Each of these bracket placements reflect a certain amount of ingrained prejudice.....
