Obama Camp Ratchets Up Attacks on Clinton
By Jonathan Weisman
PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Obama campaign fired off what may be its most aggressive broadside yet on Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's honesty this morning, with campaign manager David Plouffe issuing a diatribe on what they called her "history of misleading voters," then declaring on a conference call, "The American people simply are not going to elect someone who they think are not honest and trustworthy."
While Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) increasingly focuses his attention on presumptive Republican nominee John McCain, Obama's campaign staff has only ratcheted up its assault on Clinton (D-N.Y.). For the second day running, they have called conference calls to hash out their interpretations of thousands of pages of then-First Lady Clinton's White House schedules, then taunted the press for not doing more with them.
Greg Craig, an Obama foreign policy adviser and President Bill Clinton's former impeachment lawyer, said European newspapers have drawn stark conclusions from the calendar notations, specifically that she had no meaningful role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland, opening the borders of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia or seeking reconciliation in Rwanda.
But Plouffe, still smarting from his candidate's loss in Ohio, fired the toughest broadside at Clinton on her role in the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement, noting her presence at a meeting called "for the sole reason" of "cheerleading NAFTA's passage." Clinton's accusations that Obama secretly supported the trade deal were a central theme of her campaign in Ohio.
Mocking Clinton's calls for revotes in Michigan and Florida, Plouffe said, the "only do-over election we might want to consider is in Ohio, where she misled the voters."
In truth, the antiseptic calendar records released this week can only say so much. They may tell the world where Clinton was on a certain day, but they cannot attest to what she was doing or saying in meetings and events.

Well, if Obama becomes President, we will finally have a President who will literally "roll over his grandmother" to get there.

HERE IS A QUESTION I HAVE YET TO HAVE ANSWERED BY AN OBAMA SUPPORTER: If Hillary had been going to a "white centered" church for 20 years; the fundamental theology of the church was one of white versus black; the pastor of the church often made racist remarks against blacks; the pastor of the church gave David Duke a lifetime achievement award; and Hillary considered this pastor her "mentor and spiritual adviser"; would you give her the pass that you are giving Obama. I doubt you could answer this question honestly, so I'll tell you what would happen: The righteous indignation of Obama and the media would rise up, the demand would be made that Hillary withdraw from the nomination process immediately, and Hillary's political career would be over, period.

Obama's efforts to connect to the Republican Party, specifically Bush, and Dick Chaney, of the Halliburton Company, dates back to the Presidents Grandfather, Prescott Bush, and indeed Chaney was once an executive officer of Halliburton.
The American military pounds Iraq with Artillary, bombs, and the like, destroying large sections of cities, and infra-structures, then Halliburton comes in to rebuild. Halliburton and Halliburton associated companies have raked in ten's of billions.
Obama is just like the BIG HALIBURTAN. Haliburton has contracted to build detention centers in the U.S. similiar to the one in Quantanammo Bay, Cuba. Halliburton does nothing to earn the Two Dollars for each meal an American Serviceman in Iraq eats.
http://www.halliburtonwatch.org/
Halliburton was scheduled to take control of the Dubai Ports in The United Arab Emiirate. The deal was canceled when Bush was unable to affect the transfer of the American Ports.
Now we see what some might suspect as similiar financial escapading from the Democrats.
Two years ago, Iraq's Ministry of Electricity gave a $50 million contract to a start-up security company - Companion- owned by now-indicted businessman (TONY REZKO) Tony Rezko and a onetime Chicago cop, Daniel T. Frawley, to train Iraqi power-plant guards in the United States. An Iraqi leadership change left the deal in limbo. Now the company, Companion Security, is working to revive its contract.
Involved along with Antoin "Tony" Rezco, long time friend and neighbor of Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, and former cop Daniel T. Frawley, is Aiham Alsammarae. Alsammarae was accused of financial corruption by Iraqi authorities and jailed in Iraq last year before escaping and returning here.
LIKE FATHER LIKE SON --
Recently, Obama's campaign staff have been vetted by the IRS to disclose his connection to the criminal money generating underworld. Besides, his connections to the REZCO MAFIA types, his up-coming tax fraud charges -- Obama needs to disclose why he is a MUSLIM "PATWANG-FWEEE" and disclose Obama's MUSLIM Farrakhan mob connection to Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. Its minister, and Obama's spiritual adviser, is the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. In 1982, the church launched Trumpet Newsmagazine; Wright's daughters serve as publisher and executive editor. Every year, the magazine makes awards in various categories. Last year, it gave the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to a man it said "truly epitomized greatness." That man is Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan and Chicago's Trinity United Church are trumpeting Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama as the second coming of the messiah. Obama should stop suppoting our intervention in IRAQ. It's time to introduce this false, fake Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke "GLORK" Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek. He is MAD!!! --
OBAM YOU'RE NO JFK --
"GLORK" Obama looks like Alfred E. Newman: "Tales Calculated To Drive You." He is a MUSLIM "Glork" He's MAD!!! Alfred E. Neuman is the fictional mascot of Mad. The face had drifted through American pictography for decades before being claimed by Mad editor Harvey Kurtzman after he spotted it on the bulletin board in the office of Ballantine Books editor Bernard Shir-Cliff, later a contributor to various magazines created by Kurtzman.
Obama needs to disclose why he is a MUSLIM "PATWANG-FWEEE" and stop suppoting our intervention in IRAQ. It's time to introduce this false, fake "GLORK" Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek.
Michelle Obama should be ashamed.
"GLORK" Michelle Obama should be ashamed of her separatist-racist connection to Farrakhan and Chicago's Trinity United Church trumpeting Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama as the second coming of the messiah. If Michelle Obama new what her husband -- the Hope-A-Dope, Fonster Monster -- Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama did in Harlem, she would wash her wide-open, Hus-suey loving MUSILM mouth out, with twenty-four (24) mule-team double-cross X-boX-BorraX. He is a MUSLIM "Glork" It's time to introduce this false, fake "GLORK" Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek. THE SPEECH --
The Apologia has arrived and once again the self-indicting, separatist-racist Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama, promises to heal the wounds of the world. The speech is the rude awakening of mass messianism of his campaign. Apologetically, Obama the MUSLIM double-cross X-boX-BorraX has an astonishingly empty two-prawn echelon explanation of his misjudgment.
In the first prawn: with regard to his connection to separatist-racist Rev. Wright; Obama summons voodoo and juju to express slavery as beginning and ending with the Rev. Wright.
In the second prawn: Obama's speech takes credit for Ashley's dream. A dream of unity Martin Luther King, Jr. borrowed from Ashley for his historic "I Have A Dream" speech. In Obama's speech, the connective bond Ashley, the elderly black man and Obama's grandmother share; represents Obama's self-indicting rise to the Harvard Yard. For Obama, the grand flag of language is the semi-fore of words, bestowed upon our nation by the messiah-alumni from Harvard. Obama's Swoon-Song Apologia to the nation represents a failed hymn -- a hymn that fails to heal the nation, repair the world, or make this time different than all the rest. Obama's speech is a brilliant failure.

From The Trail Blog yesterday, you could tell that Plouffe had given all of the Obamamanics a double concentration of the Kool-Aid. It was a full court press time coordinated with the Richardson endorsement. A major push back to try and get back on the offensive with the media and in the blogs.
But, it hasn't worked. Going negative is a sure sign, as Obama has said of Clinton's effort to do the same, that ground has been lost and needs to be recovered.
Rev. Wright did Obama a great deal of harm. His raison d etre in the campaign is melting with the Spring thaw of winter. The great unifier has now, in the name of covering his back side opened the once closed racial wounds of the country.
I have heard people who would never have any sort of word against Black folks now all of the sudden have it pour out of themselves in resentment againt Mr. Obama.
He has played a terrible game. Having been caught with the worst sort of exercise of personal judgment in condoning this preacher, Obama tried to hold his political base by playing on the latent white man's guilt in the media and among those liberal and progressive elites. Rather than assess the damage done by Obama's self inflicted wound, Obama has pretty much said that Rev. Wright and his inflamatory rhetoric is the fault of white people and if we don't like it, that just means we don't like the product of our own hand.
Just stop for a minute and think about this.
Have you been out in public since all of this happened? Black people that once you would just meet in the stores, now you have to stop and wonder if they harbor some deeply held hatred of the white people they come across. I never knew such feelings were in all Black people.
But Obama said that it is because his preacher feels this way and his congregation goes "Amen" when he expresses himself.
Personally, I think its all a bunch of garbage. Black people are not this way. Blacks are not a whole lot different from White people when it comes to facing the issues of the day. Attitudes these days are shaped more by your socio-economic level than by race. There are so many different people of color now, Asians, Latino's, Middle Easterners and Blacks and Whites that its not all Black and White anymore. We are of many different ethnic heretages.
So Obama can start throwing his own kitchen sink if he wants and pore over Hillary Clinton's daily schedules and tell us all about her poor judgment and trustworthiness and all.
But there is still the stain of his preacher and the hate talk that he spewed and his goddamming of America, blaming America first rhetoric all while Obama quitely sat in his pew, nodding his head, and thinking to himself "Present".

Can you hear the desperation?
Ignoring the math, the popular vote, and the delegate count, all you hear from Clinton supporters is how their latest clump of mud has this time made enough of a difference to matter... no matter what the numbers say!
No, pastor Wright is not running, and if he were, he would be throwing mud at the Clinton immorality machine than Obama's campaign has done. I haven't even heard Obama mention Lewinsky and any reverend or preacher or catholic priest certainly would have by now... but again, they're not running.
When Clinton relies on distortions of what was said to win their own favored states... you know it's over.
When there's nothing left to throw but the kitchen sink... again... you know it's over.
When the Latino Presidential candidate that Hillary courted with Bill Clinton even joining him at the superbow, and he still backs Obama, you know it's over.
When Michigan and Florida can't pull it together to revote within Democratic Party rules this time, you know it's over.
Actually, I think when the math and delegate counts required Clinton to start winning all states by 60%, it was already over. Now? It's time to laugh at all the pro-Hillary kitchen sink attacks by Republicans and old feminists/Hillary partisans.
The media misses the close contest for the ratings and viewership, but what's bad for a low-respectability, ratings-desperate channel, is good for the Democratic Party's eventual nominee, Obama.

The clips of Rev. Wrights comments have been taken out of context to make them more explosive. If used in the fall, this can be offset by use of a larger segment or unrelated segments showing Rev Wright's beliefs in equality for all. In any event, this news item in a tiring campaign has just about run its course and next week we will move on to the next explosion.
In addition, McCain will not run a dirty campaign like Clinton. He does have experience and a record that he can contrast. It should be a good match up with Obama's message to give voters a real choice. This election campaign started as being about change, and still is. McCain and Obama can talk about change, but Hillary has too much baggage to make the argument that she represents change..other than Gender which in of itself changes nothing except in the minds of her core constituency.
What I do find interesting is that she was lucky enough to end up in the Senate having little connection with the state of New York, being the wife of a President, and her strong opponent contracts cancer. That said, she seems suited for the position because of her interest in policy. If only her ego would let go of the White House, because she is a divider and not a leader.

Obama believes "familiarity breeds contempt" and this is why America will never know him like we know Clinton. He is a born "bargainer". Just ask Shelby Steele what he thinks of him.

All the screeching about Obama being unpatriotic and/or racist makes it clear that many people never intended to give him a chance; they were just waiting for any excuse to villify him. It is also apparent either that morons masquerading as Democrats have taken over these message boards, or the Democratic Party has fundamentally changed. Seriously, we're going to decide on our candidate by employing the "patriotism" test? Is this how far we've descended? We're no better than the Republicans...
Posted by: spiritualchicken | March 21, 2008 6:14 PM
Obama's poll number took a dip as 5% were influenced by the media's overcoverage of Reverend Wright's sermon. This shows two things - that despite media influence Americans are not quite as stupid as most people think, and that the media has avoided addressing substantive issues, preferring instead to dwell on she said / he said, guilt by association and attack by inference.
Posted by: natterly71 | March 21, 2008 5:09 PM
I've watched Obama's Denouncing the Rev. Wright statements and read all about it.
Stating he never heard the Rev. talk like this in his sermons..... In the Whole 20 Years? BULL, I don't buy it.
I hope the rest of the democratic Americans are bright enough Not to
buy this song and dance. It's Call DAMAGE CONTROL. "Well Rev. Wright is retired now, and theirs a new Minister of the church." How convenient!
That Does not change the fact that Obama has know this man, will continue to know him, and receive advice from him. He will not discard this man out of his life "Suddenly" after 20 Years. Especially if he's like an Uncle/Father figure constantly giving advice.
Obama's wife, Michelle, and even Oprah has made statements that are questionable, and along the thinking lines of Rev.White. Recently both of them have been seen less. - Damage Control!
Give us a Break, Obama will say anything to sooth his believers.
Too Many Fib's, Cover up's, and Obama Hoped that some things would not be revealed.
1. Obama has fibbed about his connection with Louis Farrakhan till pushed.
2. Obama has fibbed about his real estate deal and involvement with Antoin "Tony" Rezko till pushed.
3. Now this thing with Rev. Wright. and having to be Pushed to make a Statement about that.
(Not to mention his affiliation with other Questionable situations, Fibs about growing up, etc.)
In AMERICA 3 STRIKES your OUT!
He has not even completed one full term in the Senate.
Not to mention about the Muslim Garb he Wears, Michelle proclaiming being Proud of America for the first time in her life, and Obama NOT reciting the Pledge to Allegiance, Putting his hand over his heart, Rejecting to wear an America Flag Lapel Pin ... NOW we have, ... GOD DAM AMERICA ! ! ...I could continue with the FACTS !
Is it only going to get WORSE after he's President? Especially If he's lying and covering NOW !!
This is the same tactics that President Bush pulled, and is pulling as we speak.
I don't see CHANGE, I See a REPEAT...and it's even MORE Cunning & DANGEROUS than Bush, as Obama is a OIL SNAKE CHARMER....and american's lap it up.
I Hope the Young voting Americans Wake up soon from this trance and SMELL THE COFFEE.
I'm sure their will be more Secrets from the Obama Closet, as where theirs Smoke...theirs Fire !
And theirs been an awful lot of Smoke !

Personally, I blame Hillary Clinton. I think she is power hungry manipulative angry indignant b-word. You? You might see it differently. Maybe you think it's Obama's fault. (though I'm not sure how you account for the fact that Hillary obviously went negative first...) But whatever! My point is that this Party is, and has been, a farce for a very long time, at least since Carter's run at reelection. And it only got worse under Bill Clinton, who sold working folks out to become the other party of big business. I say, "let's tear this party in two," I'm all for it. Yo, abcde3, You say: "in light of the Florida/Michigan trainwreck, an Obama nomination will be viewed all over the country as a fraud on the voters". By the rules of the Democartic Party Obama did nothing wrong. How is this a "fraud"? Stop making the facts speak untruthes.

Richardson must have endorsed, after viewing
racially divisive remarks from Wright that he has
no problem with Barack in attendance of for 20
years, but before this;
-
610 WIP host Angelo Cataldi asked Obama about his Tuesday morning speech on race at the National Constitution Center in which he referenced his own white grandmother and her prejudice. Obama told Cataldi that "The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity, but that she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know (pause) there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."
-
"Comes out in the wrong way", indeed. Obama was
referring to himself in the present moment there.
He is far smarter than to utter stereotypes. Even
idiots like Bush don't make that error. Fatigue
and disorientation has obviously set in.
That is backed up by the comical release yesterday
by the Obama staff - after days of scrambling for
something/anything apparently - of a pic of Wright
at some Bill Clinton event at the White House 10
years ago.
As if that somehow legitimizes Wright, or means
Clinton endorsed him just like Barack.
That released yesterday by Obama staff is so
nonsensical, so totally unhelpful to their situation,
it illustrates the kind of internal turmoil that has
taken over. These guys do not know which
way is up anymore.

He has been exposed of his own lies. His wife has been cut off from the media. You notice how she's not giving interviews any more. Maybe, because she is only now proud of her country. His image is tainted and the typical white folk of the blue collar class will not vote for him & his 20 years of sitting in the church listening to the hate on the white people for all their problems.

Not "white", brigette, but typical cheap sarcastic person, I would say, and I doubt if that has much to do with whether you are a pink lady or not. If you had bothered to see what the subject at hand here is, instead of playing follow the leader, we are discussing the question of a candidate's experience is pertinant and whether making up a fluffed up resume is a sign of character weakness or strength.
Getting back to the subject,I think it is easy enough to call into question the presumption that Hillary Clinton somehow gained 35 years of experience by vertue of her residency in Little Rock and 1600 Pennsylvania Aveune. The Northern Ireland agreements were not the work of either of the Clintons and if we want to give credit to anyone for working hard to achieve peace, the most significant woman was Norther Ireland Minster, Mo Mowlam. If you don't know who she is, you can do a little research. As for Bosnia and Kosovo, I doubt if Hillary Clinton really wants to take credit for bombing the train full of people on the bridge in Yugoslavia or blowing up the Chinese embassy, both acts of illegal aggression. We could also mention Bill's order to fire missiles into the pharmaceutical factory in Africa. I can only hope she wasn't party to that decision.
The final audacity of her inflated resume must be her claim to having run a co-presidency. If that were so, there are two constitutional problems here: first, she was not elected in 1992 and second even if we stretch that point, her two terms are up and she is not allowed to serve a third one. Aside from these constitutional niceties, it would not only be a mistake to return the Clintons to the White House, but it would bring with them are number of their cronies. We have just seen how bad a Republican entourage of "experienced" cronies can be.

What may be broken though is the GOP. You have the strongest in your field a senile old, old man who can't remember a thing with out his people wispering in his ear. Who thinks we should stay in a war for over 100 years. Who makes a lame joke, Bomb Bomb Iran, about a very serious situation, good luck with that one.
Oh and then you have 29 seats up in Congress, with many weak choices in the Senate. Broken indeed.

For anyone else living in Pennsylvania:
March 24th is the DEADLINE to register for the Pennsylvania primary -- if you are currently registered Republican or Idependent -- you can always switch back after the primary:

I am so glad to hear this. While I am generally not a fan of negative campaigning -- especially in a Democratic primary -- Obama has been too nice for too long. It is time for time to end this and this seems like the only way to get it done. Hillary Clinton is completely delusional and has yet to accept that she lost this race after Wisconsin. At this point she is only hurting the Democratic Party. If she really cared about providing all American with health insurance or fixing the economy, so would have gotten out of the race a month ago. It is clear that all that drives her is personal ambition. Because of this, I hope Obama hits her hard. She truly deserves everything bad that will hopefully come her way.

Whew! What a day! I've been busy all day injecting the AIDS virus into black people. I see my chickens have come home to roost while I was out. Good thing that cab stopped for me on my way home or that black man I saw might have harmed me!

I guess you missed Obama's speech.
I recall an interview I saw with Jesse Jackson some time ago. That when walking in Wash DC at night, if he turned around and saw black men behind him he'd be afraid, but not if they were white.
This kind of talk will only turn people off, I wish people would grow up, or stay off blogs.

It will be very telling next week when the new polls come in, to see if Obama is hurt by the whole Wright thing, or saved by his speech. If he's hurt I feel he may lose it, if he's helped he will get it.

Looks like Team Obama is panicking. It should. His campaign is losing altitude fast.
Obama is patently unelectable. The super delegates need to do right by the country, and elect the woman best prepared to get it done from Day One.
Besides, in light of the Florida/Michigan trainwreck, an Obama nomination will be viewed all over the country as a fraud on the voters.

Will Obama be an illegitimate nominee if Michigan and Florida voters are silenced?

Guilt by association might be for morons but lying about the ones you are a associtated with is a moron.
Obama finally admitting that he is far more associated with Rezko only proves that his lies were going to come out any way!

OBAMA'S DECEPTIVENESS HAS BEEN EXPOSED. HE HAS LOST CREDIBILITY WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. HIS TRANSPARENCY, HONESTY AND CHANGE HAS NO MEANING WHEN HE CODDLES CORRUPT SLUMLORD, REZKO OR HIS DIVISIVE AND HATE MONGERING PASTOR WRIGHT. HE HAS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT OF SUBSTANCE, SO NOW HE IS PEDDLING PHOTO WITH PRESIDENT CLINTON TAKEN DECADES AGO. HE HAS SENT HIS PASTOR ON A "WORLD CRUISE" TO SHUT HIM UP. HE SURROUNDS HIMSELF WITH AMERICAN FLAGS BUT DOES NOT RESPECT THEM. HE DOES NOT SAY ANTHEM OR PUT HIS HAND TO HIS HEART. HE SUBJECETS HIS CHILDREN TO THE DISGUSTING SERMONS OF HIS PASTOR. HIS JUDGEMENT IS FLAWED. FOR 20 YEARS HE COULD NOT CONDEMN HIS PASTORS INCENDIARY SERMONS. HE IS MANIPULATIVE, DECEITFUL AND CALCULATING. HE WANTS TO DISENCHFRANCISE PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT HE WILL SURELY LOSE THERE. HE AND HIS WIFE ARE BOTH INFLUENCED BY HIS PASTOR, THIS IS MANIFESTED BY THEIR WORDS AND ACTIONS. MICHELLE SAYS THAT SHE WAS NOT PROUD OF AMERICA UNTIL HER ADULT LIFE. WE DON'T WANT SUCH A SLICK OBAMA TO BE OUR PRESIDENT.

Does anyone know if the Obama campaign provided that photo of Rev. Wright with Bill Clinton? Doesn't that just give the news yet another excuse to run the video of Wright's rantings? How does that turn the page?
Posted by: JakeD | March 21, 2008 11:32 AM

Turn the page? McCain had to fire a staff member for running a video clip of Wright and company, which keeps with his record of distancing himself from supporters after the damage is done.
Just wait until the 527's start their work.

What a novel idea, have candidates win the election based on their merits and the issues! The realities are that each candidate has their albatross: Hillary has Bill and her own abrasive, self absorbing and shrill approach; McCain sought and got the endorsement of highly questionable ministers, and: Barack has Jeremiah Wright. Neither is above the other in the social scene and the focus on political appearances, perceptions and form over substance and relevance makes them all unattractive. A focus on real issues would be both refreshing and enlightening.

Why is the media spending time on this fight between Democrats. We need to remember that the real focus should be on defeating the Republicans in the fall.

C'mon, now...all this Rev. Wright stuff is just the out-of-context rantings of the neo-con right (Hannity, Limbaugh, et al.), the new McCarthyism of character assassination and guilt by association. Is Wright really a fringe lunatic, "racist hatemonger? as the neo-con's would have you believe based on a few sound-bites and the laziness of the MSM to investigate and give the full story? Hell, this pro-Obama MSM blog won't even run the Wright-Clinton pic. Are they afraid the ADD-plagued electorate will misunderstand the point, that Wright was so respected as to get a WH invite and a POTUS photo opp just a few years back? Well, judging from blog evidence this morning, maybe they're right about that.
When will some respected public figure (or figures together---BHO and HRC, I'm talking to you) call out this new McCarthyism of the neo-con right and say "At last, sir, have you no decency"?

Two things to look at:
Hillary Clinton's trustworthyness, honesty and judgement. In a video provided here
http://tpzoo.wordpress.com/2008/03/21/god-bless-you-heather/
she praises ex-wife of Paul McCartney and prime gold-digger Heather Mills for her work for victims of landmines and some time later, the same Hillary Clinton goes and votes against a ban of cluster bombs. Poor judgement as to who she is applauding and outright cynical in the light of the clusterbomb vote.
Link #2:
If the Clinton campaign is really behind the passport database breach, as insinuated here:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/3/21/82444/5711/676/481384
that is outright criminal.

No Sal...he doesn't. Mrs. Clinton does need to answer:
1. Where is all this experience she keeps harping on?
2. Have you no shame or integrity?
Posted by: scrappyc20001 | March 21, 2008 11:44 AM
The only question Obama has to answer re: Wright is: "Did you lie then? Or are you lying now?? Because there is no question that you are a liar, and a hypocrite. Audacity of hope, my white, non-racist grandmother. Out and out plain audacity.
Posted by: sal | March 21, 2008 11:39 AM
Lets judge the candidates by their words not the words of others..
I will not judge McCain by Hagee
Clinton by her racist father or her association with a group called The Family and Doug Coe
Obama by his preacher
Guilt by association is for morons. These are all decent people with different views. It's so sad that low info voters cannot distinguish this.. No wonder our country ranked 35th in education..
Posted by: TennGurl | March 21, 2008 11:37 AM
It's a legit line of attack -- this isn't mudslinging politics, but rather calling her own words into question in light of the facts as the public record shows it.

How brilliant is that offensive attack? Accusing someone of misleading statements. This is coming from someone that out right lied about his Pastor and his knowledge of what he preached after sitting there for 20 years shaking his head in agreement. Then admitting that he had a lot more interaction with Rezko than his original remarks or shall I say lies. Isn't that deny, deny, deny tactics. I don't have to have gone to an Ivy League school to see how stupid this is. What else do we not know about him. He will never win the general election. Obama says Hillary has bad judgement. Then he brushes his crap off as a bone headed decision. Well I don't want my future put in the hands of someone who makes one bone headed decision after another and lies about it!

I care less about some church talks and kitchen sinks talks but here are some more facts which say exactly who HRC really is and her so called "fight for women"...and I fully understand that HRC doesn't fight for anybody just for HERSELF.
Contempt for Women: The world got its first glimpse of Hillary's shabby character when she was co-running for the co-presidency in 1992 and - with what turned out to be supreme irony - told Steve Kroft on "60 Minutes" that she "wouldn't be some 'stand by your man' woman like [country-music icon] Tammy Wynette."
Her low regard for women continued through the 1990s as the White House went after many but certainly not all of the president's women - Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and Elizabeth Ward Gracen - by auditing their tax returns, and, in 1997, leaking Paula Jones' confidential tax returns to the press.
According to Candace E. Jackson in her book, "The Women Targeted by the Clinton Machine," Hillary "was right there in the inner circle taking a lead in giving these women zero credibility, in attacking them in public and through the press and in participating in all of these scare tactics, like hiring private investigators to threaten them and follow them...[she] is either as misogynistic as her husband or she is simply willing to conspire to mistreat women if that's what it takes to preserve their political careers."

You mean HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY as in "I never heard Pastor Wright make those statements before"?
Posted by: JakeD | March 21, 2008 11:10 AM
We all know Senator Clinton has exaggerated on her resume. What happens after you examine her claims of experience after deflating them to the truth? You see someone wholly unqualified for the position she seeks.
No foreign policy experience at all, apart from flying to countries and witnessing cultural events presented for her benefit.
No national security experience at all.
No legislative achievements at all. A completely mismanaged attempt at health care reform, and no bills of substance passed in her 7 years and counting tenure as a U.S. Senator. She tried to take credit for S-CHIP, but even the New York Times has laughed at that claim.
Plenty of evidence that she sold out to corporations and other special interests. Plenty of evidence that she sold Presidential pardons to gain support for a Senate run and for money.
The only reason she is in this race at all is because she was First Lady to a two-term President. It's time Clinton supporters acknowledge that she is lucky to be who she is.
Posted by: junkmail | March 21, 2008 11:09 AM
Going negative this way is a sure sign that the internal polls of the Obama campaign are showing big erosion as the Wright matter drags on and is exacerbated by the candidate's own gaffe.
Hillary has been fairly immune from attack for quite some time, the Obama campaign wary of generating a teary moment ever since New Hampshire, and Obama enjoying the front runner status.
It will be interesting to see what happens now, when desperation hits the Obama campaign as it already has hit HRC's.

He's MAD!!!
http://www.halliburtonwatch.org/
