On Cable, Obama Deluges Pa. with Ads

By Matthew Mosk
As the Democratic candidates for president close in on Pennsylvania primary day, Sen. Barack Obama continues to vastly outspend Sen. Hillary Clinton on television advertising in the state, an imbalance that is allowing him to pursue voters on specialty channels such as ESPN and MTV, where Clinton has no presence.

In Philadelphia alone, Obama spent $1.4 million last week on broadcast networks and cable, while Clinton spent $547,000, according to new figures gathered by National Cable Communications in Washington. In cable spots pre-ordered for the final week of campaigning, Obama has reserved $465,000 worth of ads, while Clinton has reserved $91,000.

Tim Kay, the director for political strategy at NCC, said an analysis of cable spending showed Obama has averaged more than 5,600 spots per week in Pennsylvania -- most of them on cable stations -- while Clinton has aired about 2,400 spots per week. Both candidates have focused the vast majority of their resources on viewers in and around Philadelphia. Obama also spent considerably more on cable spots in rural areas -- he out spent Clinton seven-to-one, for instance, in the Youngstown market in the southwestern part of the state.

Obama's bigger budget, which is likely the product of his 2 to 1 edge in fundraising last month, has also enabled him to reach voters through a broad spectrum of cable stations, from the predominately female viewers of the Soap Opera channel, to the younger viewers of MTV, to the conservative viewers of the Fox News channel, to the largely male audiences of ESPN and ESPN2. Clinton's ads have appeared along with Obama's on the 24-hour news networks and on stations such as the Food Network, Lifetime and the Family Channel.

Cable television has represented a far greater share of political spending on television this year, according to Kay. Figures show presidential candidates spent $2.2 million on cable ads between August 2003 and March of 2004. In just the past year, between March of 2007 and March 2008, presidential candidates have spent $18.4 million on cable commercials.

What Debate,
What a waste of time.
Ms. Hillary was not wearing a pin either. A waste of time and so little time left. This Was Her type of debate. Hilary, stop fixing the cables, and go on the Jerry Springer show if you want laughs.

Posted by: justadad55 | April 18, 2008 3:09 PM

Gosh! I am so surprised to actually see so many comments that actually reflect my experience as well. What has happened here? I too have been censored. CNN and MSNBC plus many other outlets do not post my comments because they are pro-Hillary/anti-Obama. I even called in with a very good question to the new MSNBC "race to the white house" on Friday night when this story was barely rearing its ugly little head and when no one really knew about it yet. Of course, on Monday, they said they were doing something different and not taking calls or emails.

Let me tell you, the media, have been trying to say that Hillary is pushing this story...WHAT???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? Friday night hardly anyone even knew. It was people on the internet that were burning up about this...and what was so completely interesting is that since the Obamadrones were unaware of this they were unable to overwhelm YouTube and all other sites with their misleading vids or just drown out what was being made available.

They totally dominate what information is available to us. And this is why I believe they know in their hearts that he is not up to par - - I say, if he is so great then just convince me - no problem. I, too, want the best for my country WHICH I LOVE and if he is the best then just tell me why. They can't. They just say, he's half-Black (not even with the history of a real African-American) so vote for him because we want to prove that we are SORRY FOR SLAVERY and he deserves the USA (as Farrakhan says they deserves because their people suffered) OR YOU ARE A RACIST.

Now, let me tell you, I know what real racists are. My grandfather was always proud of how he helped start the KKK in his small town in IN and that is just the beginning. Many of my own family members would criticize me because I'm not FULL WHITE....but let me tell you...there may be some anti-Obama supporters out there that are racist but they are not PRO-Hillary people they are usually PRO-McCain people.

These young people don't even understand getting up to turn the channel on the t.v. and the rest of older people are the "please forgive me, I didn't agree with slavery either, I want to be "cool" like a rapper, and be "accepted" by you" people - like the ones described above. Look, I don't know anyone that believes slavery was good or right or believes that Blacks got a deal. What I do know though, is that this generation did not participate and have done everything we can to change it. I am not married to a "White" and we have several people in our family who are "Black" and other. Why? Because that person was joined or created in our family with love.

Now, I would like to say that how Rev. Wright always talks about how Whites did Blacks wrong. Okay, well, he is partly right. But why be afraid of telling the whole truth? What tell an amended version? If we are going to talk then let's talk and be brutally honest.

So, what is also right, is that BLACKS SOLD THEIR OWN PEOPLE. THEY GATHERED THEM UP AND SOLD THEM FOR THE COMMODITY THEY WERE THEN. Now, just like any other group of people who has had slavery in their history this is what happened. Just look at our neighbor, Mexico. Plenty of people were sold by their enemies, tribes at war, etc. For heaven's sake, even the Native Americans had slaves between tribes. This has happened in any other slavery situation. This is how it was done.

What is the difference for Blacks? Well, number one, it was well documented with pictures that has never been done before because the technology wasn't there before. The bible was used for a means to an end. Also, humans were capable of movement in a way that had never been available before in human history. So what is unique about American Black Slavery? That was the largest mass movement of humans for the purpose of slavery ever recorded on the planet. Anthropologically. This is my understanding, someone can tell me if I'm wrong.

Slavery is done and over. On the whole in America. Slavery in America today is actually one of the fastest growing evils in America right now. People are brought here under false pretenses from other countries then held, usually as sex slaves, in private homes. This is a world documented fact.

Is there still racism? Of course, I do not believe that will ever end. It is human/animal nature for one to try and dominate the other.

Do we still love and cherish and desire to be part of one another? Absolutely.

Obama's rolling ever evolving answers always have made him the TEFLON-POLITICIAN but now it works to our benefit because we see this is his pattern. Which, if you look at his political past, this has always been his modus operandi. That is why he votes present, changes his vote, accidently votes wrong six times, blah blah blah. THIS is the reason why they were demanding that Hillary drop out!

Well, she was brave, still brave, and she didn't show us who he was because she has kept quiet about it because if she said anything before she would have been roasted even more --- but, what is the beauty and poetic justice about all this is that it is his and his wife's word have gotten them into the trouble they are in!!!! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ah, the satisfaction.

Poetic justice ALSO is that the LADY who "broke the story" about Obama's Bittergate. She was a devoted Obama supporter. Lucky for us, she was a true American first. Unlike Obama. She is a true American Patriot as far as I'm concerned. She was what they called a citizen reporter. Taping was something she had just always done. This was nothing new. Then she said that she was so shocked about what was said and the way he was that she stewed about it for the week and was worried about what to do because she didn't want to bring him down but she felt compelled to share what he had said. So she posted, HIS WORDS. Not her version. HIS WORDS. On a Friday, which as we all know is when stories are dumped that don't want to see the light of day.

Now, there is a video of the entire fundraiser but the Obama's have only released :37 sec on YouTube then reduced it to a :34 sec vid because there was too much laughter from the elitists. Now, this little part "could" show him "caring" depending on the "interpretation" but we already have the full audio version at Huffington Post. By the way, the Obama supporters are eating her alive.

If Obama really meant what he said in his AMENDED version to the American public then WHY DON'T THEY MAKE THE VIDEO AVAILABLE TO US AND LET US MAKE OUR OWN DECISION???? RELEASE THE VIDEO! RELEASE THE VIDEO! RELEASE THE VIDEO!

They can't. And we know why.

Thanks for reading, sorry it is so long, this is like the first time I have been able to express myself on a post site that I actually felt was allowing all views, hopefully it will stay.

I LOVE MY COUNTRY.
I LOVE ALL ITS CITIZENS.
I LOVE HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT.
VOTE HILLARY.
I ALREADY DID.

I hope all you Obama fans watched your messiah fumble tonight in the debates. I guess the questions about his "mentor and spiritual adviser," Rev. Wright, and his terrorist buddy, William Ayers, kinda got to him. Poor Obama, the press if finally asking him a few hard questions. Well, he sure gave the Republicans ammunition for the general if he is the nominee. I can just see the commercials now, starting with Obama on video saying that there is nothing controversial about his pastor; then the camera pans to his answer tonight to the question of whether he thinks Rev. Wright loves America; and finally the camera pans to the "Rev." saying GD America. What a joke, a very sad joke on the Democratic Party.

From Canada,
So if we are to listen to fact, a simple bombing would mean world war three as far as the gun slinging Senator Clinton is concerned. Be worried my Neighbors, Very worried. Look at your resources, your tiered military. May Someone protect us all. God Bless you. Please Stop the insanity now with a politician who will not be so War ready, unless she will put Chelsea on the front line. Forgot, All political leaders in Canada and the USA have a place to hide.

From Canada,
I see so much bitterness, much like we have in Canada. Your choice for a President is of course only for Americans. Please do remember, Canada is and will most likely to join in the near future. We share bitterness with Hog wash political promises. We will need each other always, as the people. So don't be offended when I say, to hell with the small mistakes, look for the meat that can bring jobs back to both our countries, bring your heroic young men and women home with jobs, care and a future. With respect and hope for all of our greatest neighbors. Our Children are smarter then us for we have failed badly. It's time for Younger people in charge.

OBAMA DECLINED TO SUPPORT MOVE TO QUESTION 2004 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
In October 2004, in the third and final debate, U.S. Senate contenders Barack Obama and Republican candidate Alan Keyes were asked to answer "yes" or "no" as to whether they would eliminate the Electoral College. Obama said "yes", that he would.[1]
After joining the U.S. Senate in January 2005, Sen. Obama's first action was to decline to be the Senate co-sponsor of a move to question Ohio's Electoral College votes following the 2004 presidential election. He then voted against the resolution.[2]
"Some members of the Congressional Black Caucus moved to contest the certification of the Ohio votes. Mr. Obama did not join them. In a hastily arranged maiden speech, he said he was convinced that President Bush had won but he also urged Congress to address the need for voting reform."[3][4]
Mr. President, I did not anticipate speaking today, but the importance of this issue is enough for me to address this body.[5]

OBAMA'S CHANGING STORY ON REZKO: Chicago Sun-Times, March 16, 2008: For the first time, Sen. Barack Obama put a figure Friday to the amount of campaign contributions that indicted political fund-raiser Tony Rezko raised for the senator's campaigns, and the number -- about $250,000 -- was far more than he previously acknowledged. Obama's estimate exceeded his campaign staff's previous estimates of Rezko's fund-raising during Obama's 12 years in politics. In November 2006, Obama's staff estimated Rezko raised $50,000 to $60,000 over the senator's career. In the last year, Obama's campaign fund has given charities more than $157,600 in donations it linked to Rezko, his family, friends and business associates.

This Dem race will be over May 7th, HRC's own campaign now says she has a 10% chance of winning the nomination. Since last weekend when her people admitted that low chance, she has fallen behind in Indiana - for the first time ever. She will lose by 15% or more in NC, presently trails there by 23%.
So Indiana is her last and only hope.
She is from Pa, and was ahead by 20% three months ago when she said it was the big state Obama had to win. How convenient for her to make the choice of who has to win what. BIll said she had to win Texas and we now know she lost Texas, by 99 delegates to 94. No matter. Now, she is losing in the only real battleground state left, Indiana, that neither has lead in by much.
If she loses Indiana, she will be wrestled to the ground by the big Dems, and made to say "uncle". Be patient. This is about done. There are no other states besides Indiana that are close.
Each has a commanding lead in every single one of the remaining states. So we know the outcome. Obama has won this nomination. Just stay calm, this is over.
Be in allowance and it will be resolved in a month.
Soon our attention will turn to the CIA's Manchurian candidate, McSame McCain, the former prisoner of war, who has approved the use of waterboarding prisoners. That is so lame, he will lose by a landslide, just on that. Can you imagine seeing video of young women Marine prisoners, being waterboarded, like witches, by the Taliban, like the Puritans did to witches in New England?
The difference between the Muslim fundementalists who do such deeds on video and our White House staffers like Condi, is the Muslims are open about it, whereas we only discover by chance that our government has approved such behavior in our name. PS. Those are some more of 'our chickens, come home to roost." The CIA trained Bin Laudin. The CIA paid bin Laudin with our tax dollars. Those Al Quaida are "our chickens, come home to roost". The one who needs to repent is McSame, whose lust for the Presidency has ended his claim to moral high ground.
Soon, soon, we will turn our attention to granpa McSame McCain, and wonder whether his non-interest in details is senility, like Reagan's. Another senile president who the CIA can run like a toy. Reagan said about the Irangate, I was napping. I dont remember.
Enjoy the debate tonight, It is the last one you will see of Hillary.
Happy day,

OBAMA WAS A DIRTY POLITICIAN FROM THE VERY BEGINNING: From the Chicago Sun-Times -- A close examination of Obama's first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career: The man now running for president on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it. One of the candidates he eliminated, long-shot contender Gha-is Askia, now says that Obama's petition challenges belied his image as a champion of the little guy and crusader for voter rights. "Why say you're for a new tomorrow, then do old-style Chicago politics to remove legitimate candidates?" Askia said. "He talks about honor and democracy, but what honor is there in getting rid of every other candidate so you can run scot-free? Why not let the people decide?" In a recent interview, Obama granted that "there's a legitimate argument to be made that you shouldn't create barriers to people getting on the ballot." But the unsparing legal tactics were justified, he said, by obvious flaws in his opponents' signature sheets. "To my mind, we were just abiding by the rules that had been set up," Obama recalled. Asked whether the district's primary voters were well-served by having only one candidate, Obama smiled and said: "I think they ended up with a very good state senator." Alice Palmer, a friend and mentor to Obama, served the district in the Illinois Senate for much of the 1990s. Decades earlier, she was working as a community organizer in the area when Obama was growing up in Hawaii and Indonesia. She risked her safe seat to run for Congress and touted Obama as a suitable successor, according to news accounts and interviews. But when Palmer got clobbered in that November 1995 special congressional race, her supporters asked Obama to fold his campaign so she could easily retain her state Senate seat. Obama not only refused to step aside for the woman who was his friend and had recommended him for the seat, he filed challenges that nullified Palmer's hastily gathered nominating petitions, forcing her to withdraw. "I liked Alice Palmer a lot. I thought she was a good public servant," Obama said. "It was very awkward. That part of it I wish had played out entirely differently." Had Palmer survived the petition challenge, Obama would have faced the daunting task of taking on an incumbent senator. Palmer's elimination marked the first of several fortuitous political moments in Obama's electoral success: He won the 2004 primary and general elections for U.S. Senate after tough challengers imploded when their messy divorce files were unsealed. "He wondered if we should knock everybody off the ballot. How would that look?" said Ronald Davis, the paid Obama campaign consultant whom Obama referred to as his "guru of petitions." In the end, Davis filed objections to all four of Obama's Democratic rivals at the candidate's behest. All other candidates were disposed of by Obama's challenges. He then went on to win the election.

Hunter S; Last night you had asked me that if I didn't like Obama so much, who would I be voting for in the general. Well, it depends; I'd rather it be Hillary Clinton, but if Obama is the nominee, then I will be voting for John McCain. Either way, I won't be voting for a racist for President. As I mentioned in a prior post, Obama's racism is a deal-breaker with me.

CBSNEWS.COM
THE BAD COMPANY OF BARACK OBAMA
National Review Online: The Senator's "Change" Would Radically Alter This Country
Why is Barack Obama so comfortable around people who so despise America and its allies? Maybe it's because they're so comfortable around him.

He presents as the transcendent agent of "change." Sounds platitudinous, but it's really quite strategically vaporous. Sen. Obama is loath to get into the details of how we should change, and, as the media's Chosen One, he hasn't had to.

But he's not, as some hopefully dismiss him, a charismatic lightweight with a gift for sparkling the same old vapid cant. Judging from the company he chooses to keep, Obama's change would radically alter this country. He eschews detail because most Americans don't believe we're a racist, heartless, imperialist cesspool of exploitation. The details would be disqualifying.
...
Rev. Wright inspired his congregation -- of which the Obamas were 20-year members -- with "black liberation theology." The doctrine is itself the inspiration of James Hal Cone, a professor of "Systematic Theology" at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Cone is also the author of several books, which a tendentious Wright urged Sean Hannity to read during a recent interview.

It's a useful suggestion. For example, there is Cone's 1969 opus, Black Theology and Black Power, in which he helpfully explains:

Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community.... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.

Black liberation theology, as Wright has elaborated, is closely aligned with the "liberation theology" of Nicaragua during the seventies and eighties: i.e., the doctrine that catalyzed Marxist revolutionaries. It spurred an unabashedly Leftist movement that emphasized, you guessed it, the crying need for "change" -- as George Russell aptly described it in a 2001 Time magazine analysis, "social change in the process of spiritual improvement."

It is this same drive for upheaval, for supplanting a political order which purportedly treats blacks as "less than human," that impelled Wright's plea for God to "damn America." In the oppression narrative, the murder of 3000 Americans on 9/11 isn't terrorism but social justice. America, after all, had it coming. For Wright, it was "chickens coming home to roost." Indeed, Wright sometimes prefers to call our country "the U.S. of KKK A" -- a grotesque sentiment which, we shall see, is shared by others with whom the Obamas choose to associate themselves.

For their part, the Obamas couldn't get enough of Wright. Barack and Michelle had him marry them. They chose him to baptize their children, who were routinely exposed to Wright's race-baiting bombast.
...
With this as background, is it really all that startling that Sen. Obama enjoys a friendly relationship with Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, a pair of terrorists?

I want to be clear here: Not terrorist sympathizers. Terrorists.

The mainstream media, in their zeal to elect a Democrat, are assiduously airbrushing Ayers: "an aging lefty with a foolish past," as the Chicago Sun-Times has so delicately put it. In fact, it is the press that is rife with foolish, aging lefties. Ayers, by contrast, is an unapologetic terrorist with a savage past -- one who beat the system he so reviles when, after his years of fugitivity, terrorism charges were dropped due to government surveillance violations. He's "guilty as sin," by his own concession, but "free as a bird."

Ayers didn't just carry a sign outside the Pentagon on May 19, 1972. He bombed it. As his memoir gleefully recalled, "Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the *******s were finally going to get what was coming to them."

Whether Pentagon bombing day was more or less ideal than other days, when he, Dohrn and their Weathermen comrades bombed the U.S. Capitol, the State Department, and sundry banks, police stations and courthouses, Ayers does not say. But on each occasion, there was surely optimism that the *******s were finally going to get what was coming to them.

There were lots of bombs. There is no remorse. "I don't regret setting bombs," he told the New York Times in 2001, sorry only that he and the others "didn't do enough." Like what? We can't be sure, though National Review Online's Jonah Goldberg recounts Ayers's sentiments back in the day: "Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at."

TRUTH, RELIGION, OBAMA AND POLITICS
04/02/08 • 3:22 pm ::
IT IS DIFFICULT TO VIEW OBAMA'S CHURCH AS CHRISTIAN!
Not good training for a presidential candidate in the U.S.A.
The value system that motivates behavior and informs analysis is fundamentally intact by the time people graduate from college. And few would deny that religious lessons form much of what we call moral character. So Americans are concerned about the religious background of presidential candidates when its tenets are out of the mainstream. If this is how a candidate has been religiously educated, the question is asked, how will it affect the way he/she would govern?
Barack Hussein Obama has attended the Trinity Unity Church of Christ for the past two decades. Its ex-pastor is Jeremiah Wright who married him and baptized his children; he has advised Obama for years. Wright's comments have been on television for weeks. He has openly reviled the economic and justice systems of the U.S.; his racial comments are obnoxious. He preaches black liberation theology in his church; his mentor is James Hal Cone who is, so to speak, the St. Paul of that school of thought.
Liberation theology has its roots in South America, being formed there as a belief system for the under-privileged. Analysts refer to it as a humanistic doctrine with Marxist roots. The theology moved from South America to the blacks of this nation in 1966, when 51 black pastors bought a full-time ad in the New York Times allying themselves with the "Black Power" movement.
James Cone, its leading theologian and a sponsor of Pastor Wright, has had some interesting things to say as quoted in a book by William R. Jones, "Divine Racism ...".:
• Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community.
• If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer....
• Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy.
• What we need ... is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors ... by any means at their disposal.
Other similar quotations by Cone can be readily found on the internet.
• Cone thinks black men are "threatened on a daily basis by the insidious tentacles of white power." ... "Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man 'the devil.'"
• "We must not expect white people to give us freedom--(it) must be taken against the will of those who hold us in bondage."
When pressed, black theologians like Obama's pastor and Cone will say that "black" is simply a word of choice that symbolizes all oppressed people. Observers can rule on that claim according to the evidence of their eyes and ears. Dr. H. Wayne House, Professor of Theology, Faith Evangelical Seminary, says that black theology springs from liberation theology, which holds that traditional theology offers a false view of the gospel--that salvation is not peace in heaven but equality and justice for all in this life. Its theme is oppression--blacks are victims.
It is difficult to view Obama's church as Christian. Obama claims to be a follower of Christ. But what Christ does he follow? The traditional one who preaches love for all and promises heaven as a reward? Or the re-defined Christ who seeks justice for blacks and promises worldly power as a reward? And what does it mean in terms of political leadership? Nobody sits still for 20 years listening to a theology he doesn't believe in. Evidence suggests Obama too accepts black theology as his own. It is sad, after the progress of the past half century to see a school of thought like this so active in black churches. It has little to say that is complimentary to the U.S. economic and justice systems--it sees enemies everywhere. Progress since the 1960s is ignored.
It is not good training for a presidential candidate in the U.S.A.

HOW OBAMA HAS USED GEORGE BUSH/KARL ROVE TACTICS TO OBTAIN OVER $62,000,000 FOR HIS CAMPAIGN, SO FAR!:
The Washington Post -- April 11,2008 -- Obama gets plenty of money from big donors too: "Sen. Barack Obama credits his presidential campaign with creating a 'parallel public financing system' built on a wave of modest donations from homemakers and high school teachers. ... But those with wealth and power also have played a critical role in creating Obama's record-breaking fundraising machine, and their generosity has earned them a prominent voice in shaping his campaign. Seventy-nine 'bundlers,' five of them billionaires, have tapped their personal networks to raise at least $200,000 each. ... Donors who have given more than $200 account for about half of Obama's total haul, which stands at nearly $240 million. ... The bundler list also sheds light on those who might seek to influence an Obama White House. They have helped the campaign recruit more than 27,000 donors to write checks for $2,300, the maximum allowed. Donors who have given more than $200 account for about half of Obama's total haul, which stands at nearly $240 million. The use of bundlers was perfected by George W. Bush, who in 2000 and 2004 set some fundraising records that Obama has shattered.

I must add that I wish every soldier had to be over the age of 50, including Men and Women in power. We are still tough old buggers and we have lived good lives. Let our mouths stop flapping war and go and fight the war we believe in so much. Let our children enjoy their lives with their families. They are our backbones in revitalizing the economy. After all these many year, let's leave them what we have earned and learned through life's journey. Don't worry, your kids will bring their Parents home quicker than you think. Just a thought, from Canada, Just a thought.
Time for younger Leaders, for we have failed, again, and again.

From Canada,
I fail to understand why our American Family will not ask the ultimate questions from your politicians.
Will they place into law that all their family relatives, etc., be placed on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan in the line of fire? I would ask all your politicians to be forced to show how many of their children and relatives, or friends have a job within your political system if they were to enlist and come home injured. How many are receiving above average wages because of a Politicians influence which would include health benefits of course. The reason I ask, is where are over 140,000 of your Heroic Young men and women going to work when the war is over? I can bet you that all the talk of equality for all would come to a stop, and you might be looking to postpone your election. My friends, your politicians have placed you in on Heck of a mess.
Then and only then well, all Americans be treated equally, medically, and financially. Of course, that's a dream, I only Hope for all of you. From Canada, With Respect.

Let me educate you. I know very well who Jeremiah Wright is and Cone. I'm an African American and proud of it and a member of the AFRICAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH. (you see we had to have our own churches we weren't allowed to worship with whites.) My mission on this earth is to uplift African Americans because who in the hell else will? If you get uplifted in the process- great - but that's not my mission. Nor will I uplift at the detriment of you - that's the difference between someone who is a racist and someone who is proud to be who they are! Unless by detriment it means that you now have to play fair. That the playing field has to be level. See as part of the privaleged - most whites don't realize how unlevel the field is. So why you're doing your research check out one of you white brothers - Tim Wise and let him enlighten you on the real deal. So,if I kill you that DOES NOT MAKE ME A RACIST - it makes me a murderer. If i kill you because you are white that makes me a bigot not a racist. You see i have to think that i'm superior to you and want to rule over you - that is the F'ing definition. While you're at it. Why don't you give me a Jeremiah quote that is racist. Unfortunately unapologetically or unashamedly African American ain't it. Nor is the betterment of Africa or whatever the site says. Unfortunately when whites say that they're coming from a White SUPREMIST position - the problem in this country WHITES ALREADY HAVE A SUPERIOR POSITION. So their focus is to keep us down. Jeremiah's focus is to lift us up - IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU -- unless you've got your hand on my head so that i can't get up. Then it has everything to do with you.

Posted by: LisaHussein | April 16, 2008 1:17 AM

Yeah, Lisa, I've heard that one; you know the one that says blacks can hate and kill whites, and that's not racism, but if Geraldine Ferraro says something about Obama that he himself had said, that's racism. No thinking person goes for that line of garbage anymore. You really need to get educated. Let me help you out a little. First Google Jeremiah Wright and James Cone (an architect of black liberation theology). You will then see the connection between them. Then, do as I've done; actually read the books of James Cone, like I have. I have to warn you that all that hate makes for a very depressing read; but when you've finished with that, come back and we'll have an intelligent conversation. Until then, I've got to get some rest, and you have a lot of reading to do.

I noticed that the moderators have already begun censoring some of my posts. They will most likely be gone in a matter of a few minutes. Oh, well, what else is new . . . Maybe my posts would have better luck if I said the most vile and untrue things about Hillary. Those posts seem to have a very long shelf life.

HE RACIST THEOLOGY OF OBAMA''S CHURCH:
"The "theology" that Wright teaches at his church is nothing like Christianity as most people understand it..." As most people - who are you talking about who's most people?!?
THE DEFINITION OF RACISM - means to believe that one's race is superior and as such has THE RIGHT TO RULE OVER OTHERS. Which is what the white power structure has been doing to people of color in this nation since its inception and continues to do today. Now the fact that I and Rev. Wright has just spoken the truth DOES NOT MAKE ME A RACIST it makes me a REALIST. Racism is instilled in the system and is so embedded in this culture that most cannot even see it and just accept it as fact. For instance. According to the FBI crime statistics -whites are arrested for violent crimes 30% more than blacks - but they are convicted 30% less than blacks. Now there are only a few logical explanations for this. Either 1. the whites are being "profiled" and are really innocent. 2. they have better lawyers or 3. the justice system's fairness does not apply to blacks and browns with little or no money. The Center for Justice has found that white teens are more likely to use and SELL illegal drugs, yet black and brown youth make up the majority of the convictions! hmmmm... when I was a child I was put in the so called "head start program" - which automatically labeled me as mentally disabled. I was tested at a 3 grade levels above in reading and math!!! and then and only then were my parents approached about my skipping a grade. When we moved and I had to attend a new school the teacher called me a liar in front of the whole class when I told her that I had already read all of the primers she was suggesting - I had gone to the next grade up for reading and math . It wasn't until she found out my dad was a TV producer that I was treated fairly. Today - I had to listen to this idiot teacher tell me that my son that comes from a 6 figure house hold is an "at risk" youth. RACISM IS A LIVE AND WELL IN AMERICA - and for those who don't do anything about it are just as guilty...

OBAMA'S RELIGION
News Type: Mar 17, 2008
When Rev. Wright got an argument with Sean Hannity, he refused to answer Hannity's questions and kept asking Hannity "Have you read James Cone, what do you know about black theology?"
Cone is a founder of Black Liberation Theology. Rev. Wright's ministry, his beliefs about America, and about life itself are formed by his acceptance of the writings of James Cone.
Look at some quotes from Cone.

Politico Busts Barack Obama In More Lies
Political opinion

The other day we wrote a piece covering some of Barack Obama's bigger lies during his campaign and his political life, which included, his lies about his association with Tony Rezko, then his lies about how much money he received from Rezko, then his admitting to the fact that he received more than he originally said.

Then we went to his NAFTA lies, and his lies about what he heard from his Pastor, Jeremiah Wright and when he heard it, as we showed his statement saying he never heard those controversial "God Damn America" remarks as well as the racial remarks and anti-American remarks and just four days later, made a speech where he admitted he had her controversial remarks.

He lies, then he lies to spin his way out of his previous lies and then when he can lie no more he tells part of the truth and ignores his previous lies.

This has become a very bad habit which he has been shown publicly to have....a habit of a pathological liar.

Now The Politico has just busted more Obama lies, wide open.
During his first run for elected office, Barack Obama played a greater role than his aides now acknowledge in crafting liberal stands on gun control, the death penalty and abortion -- positions that appear at odds with the more moderate image he has projected during his presidential campaign.

The evidence comes from an amended version of an Illinois voter group's detailed questionnaire, filed under his name during his 1996 bid for a state Senate seat.

Late last year, in response to a Politico story about Obama's answers to the original questionnaire, his aides said he "never saw or approved" the questionnaire.

They asserted the responses were filled out by a campaign aide who "unintentionally mischaracterize[d] his position."

But a Politico examination determined that Obama was actually interviewed about the issues on the questionnaire by the liberal Chicago nonprofit group that issued it. And it found that Obama -- the day after sitting for the interview -- filed an amended version of the questionnaire, which appears to contain Obama's own handwritten notes added to one answer.

The two questionnaires, provided to Politico with assistance from political sources opposed to Obama's presidential campaign, were later supplied directly by the group, Independent Voters of Illinois -- Independent Precinct Organization. Obama and his then-campaign manager, who Obama's campaign asserts filled out the questionnaires, were familiar with the group, its members and its positions, since both were active in it before Obama's 1996 state Senate run.

Through an aide, Obama, who won the group's endorsement as well as the statehouse seat, did not dispute that the handwriting was his. But he contended it doesn't prove he completed, approved -- or even read -- the latter questionnaire.

The Politico piece is three pages long, but it is worth the read.

The longer Barack Obama is in the political spotlight, the better because the media has started to do some actual research and every time they do, they show his lies, his past lies, or his present lies which generally lead to his future lies to try to spin out of the wind for his original lies.

The old expression about tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceived is quite appropriate here because Barack Obama is caught in the web of his own lies and he doesn't seem to be able to break free of one before the next set of them are brought to the publics attention.

I love this comment from Hot Air's, Ed Morrisey:
This makes no sense at all. If Obama's handwriting is on the survey, then he filled it out. If the answers didn't reflect his views, why didn't he change them when he "jotted some notes" on it? If the answers were wrong, Obama would have "jotted some notes" to that effect, rather than allow such mistakes to get transmitted to IVI. And the "eleven years in public office" defense might make sense if Obama hadn't spent much of that time voting "present" instead of taking actual stands.

Once again, we have more evidence that Obama represents nothing more than the political winds. He has zero credibility, zero experience, and a penchant for telling people what they want to hear rather than any truth about what he actually believes. Either he lied to IVI or he's lying now. In either case, it's hardly the New Politics Obama has promised.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Contrary to Obama's claims in speeches in January at American University and in Selma last year, the Kennedy family did not provide the funding for a September 1959 airlift of 81 Kenyan students to the United States that included Obama's father. According to historical records and interviews with participants, the Kennedys were approached for support for the program a year later, July 1960. family responded with a $100,000 donation, which went to pay for a second airlift in September 1960.

OBAMA LIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AD
From NBC/NJ's Aswini Anburajan
GREENBURG, Pa. -- The Clinton campaign today accused the Obama campaign of "false advertising," claiming that a recent ad Obama released in Pennsylvania was disngenous because Obama has been the recipient of more than $200,000 from the oil and gas industry.
In the ad, Obama says, "I'm Barack Obama, and I don't take money from oil companies or lobbyists, and I won't let them block change any more."
Obama has taken $213,884 from the oil and gas industry as of Feb. 29th, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Sen. Hillary Clinton has taken $306,813 in that same period.
Two of Obama's campaign bundlers are also CEOs for oil and gas companies, per a list released on his campaign Web site.
Robert Cavnar, listed as a bundler who has raised between $50,000 to $100,000 for the campaign, is the chairman and CEO of Mission Resources Corp., a Houston-based firm. George Kaiser, also listed in the same $50,000 to $100,000 category, is the CEO of Tulsa-based Kaiser-Francis Oil Company.
"It's unfortunate that Senator Obama is using false advertising to explain why he can be trusted to do something about energy prices," Clinton spokesman Phil Singer said. "Senator Obama says he doesn't take campaign contributions from oil companies but the reality is that Exxon, Shell, and others are among his donors."

OBAMA'S NEW PASTOR COMPARES REV. WRIGHT TO JESUS -- CHICAGO -- The new pastor of Barack Obama's church delivered a defiant defense of its retiring reverend Sunday, comparing media coverage of Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. to a modern-day lynching that resembles Jesus' death at the hands of the Romans. In a sunrise Easter sermon, Rev. Otis Moss III implied that his mentor, who has delivered sermons in which he likened the U.S. to the Ku Klux Klan and declared it damned for its "state-sponsored terrorism," is facing the same challenges Jesus did."No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching," Moss said. "The lynching was national news. The RNN, the Roman News Network, was reporting it and NPR, National Publican Radio had it on the radio. The Jerusalem Post and the Palestine Times all wanted exclusives, they searched out the young ministers, showed up unannounced at their houses, tried to talk with their families, called up their friends, wanted to get a quote on how do you feel about the lynching?" he continued.

THE RACIST THEOLOGY OF OBAMA''S CHURCH:
The "theology" that Wright teaches at his church is nothing like Christianity as most people understand it. The brand of theology which Wright has been teaching Obama and the others at his church is called "black liberation theology." Wright admits this and it is stated on the church's website. Black theology is based upon the premise of the white oppressor against the black oppressed. This is why, for example, that Wright refers to Jesus as black, and his killers as white. This is the only way the story of Jesus fits within this brand of "theology." Rev. Wright cites James Cone, another proponent of black liberation theology, as his theological inspiration. Here are just a couple of James Cone's quotes: (1) "To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. God has chosen black people." (2) "While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism." (3) "All white men are responsible for white oppression." (4) "Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man "the devil." (5) "If there is any contemporary meaning of the Antichrist, the white church seems to be a manifestation of it." (6) "Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." *** These statements, and this "theology," are fundamentally racist and divisive. The fact that Obama has chosen to belong to this racist church for 20 years speaks volumes about his character and judgment, and flies in the face of his pronouncements about his ability and intent to "unite" this country.

Clinton Experience
** Clinton - 7+ years as an elected official
**Obama - 11+ years as an elected official
**McCain - too many to count - he's too old that's why he can't remember the difference between Sunni and Shiite

Clinton's experience as a first lady is irrelevant (or maybe Chelsea should run - she was there too)
Clinton lies as first lady:
**brought peace to N. Ireland
**brought peace to Bosnia
** opened the borders to Macedonia for fleeing Kosvo refugees
** spoke out against the genocides of Rwanda
**helped the rights of women in China (we can see by recent news that she really helped there)
** lastly - was treated badly by a bigot when she played soccer in middle school (like they had soccer for girls back in the stone age)
FIRST LADY SUCCESSES
1992 - 2000
Bill and Hillary have already had 8 years
o The economy was good for the most part because of Silicon Valley and the PC/internet boom it had nothing to do with legislation passed by Clinton
o Nor did he pass legislation to prevent the subsequent tech bubble burst - FAILED
o They had an opportunity to pass health care reform... FAILED
o They had an opportunity to reform immigration - FAILED
o They had an opportunity to make sure that Social Security and Medicare were sustainable - FAILED
o They had an opportunity to institute an energy plan - FAILED
o They had an opportunity to stop the hemmoraghing of the middle class - they passed NAFTA instead - FAILED
o They had an opportunity to speak for the working class - instead they support trade agreements with countries that violate basic worker's rights like Columbia - FAILED
o They could've stopped the genocide in Rwanda - FAILED
o They could've brought about ethics reform in campaign financing, instead they've cheated and are going to trial for fundraising fraud (http://www.judicialwatch.org/hillarywatch.shtml)

Fed - Great job, but....ummm, can you actually cite a single ACTUAL lie? Not just the stuff McCain, Clinton, and conservative hotheads provide you with? Also, I see that you are very racist. See, in Jim Crow days, blackness was treated like dirt. If one was even a little bit black, they were all the way black. See, Obama is just as much white as he is black. its a 50 50 mix. He is in fact both. To call him a racist against whites or blacks is kind of like believing Chapel's "Black White Supremacist" story was an actual documentary. Also, if you actually knew anything about theology, you would know that liberation theology is one of the most popular themes in Christianity globally. See, when whites enslaved black people, the black community held onto Christian belief that God provided something better. Of course, you must believe that slavery was a good thing, if condemning slavery is racism. You are one sick child.

FOR LACK OF SPACE, JUST A FEW OF OBAMA'S LIES: 1. his continual reference to his "Christian" faith, which is actually "black liberation theology"; 2. his lies and omissions about his connection to his racist and anti-American "mentor and spiritual adviser"; 3. his lie that the Kennedy family provided the funding for a September 1959 airlift of 81 Kenyan students to the United States that included Obama's father; 4. his current false ad in Pennsylvania in which he lies about taking contributions from the oil companies; 5. his alleged continual opposition to the Iraq war; 6. his denial regarding playing the race card (for which he was busted by Tim Russert); 7. his denial that any meeting took place between his chief economic adviser and the Canadian official about NAFTA; 8. his changing testimony about his relationship with and monetary support from Rezko; 9. his lie about a pharmaceutical lobbyist's involvement in his campaign; 10. his statement that his parents met at the Selma march (when he was actually born 4 year before that); 11. his claim in his book that he received his racial awakening at age nine reading a Life/Ebony Magazine story about a black man who was scarred trying to dye his skin white, when both Life and Ebony say there was no such article. AND JUST A FEW OF OBAMA'S FLIP-FLOPS: 1. Special interests In January, the Obama campaign described union contributions to the campaigns of Clinton and John Edwards as "special interest" money. Obama changed his tune as he began gathering his own union endorsements. He now refers respectfully to unions as the representatives of "working people" and says he is "thrilled" by their support. 2. Public financing Obama replied "yes" in September 2007 when asked if he would agree to public financing of the presidential election if his GOP opponent did the same. Obama has now attached several conditions to such an agreement, including regulating spending by outside groups. His spokesman says the candidate never committed himself on the matter. 3. The Cuba embargo In January 2004, Obama said it was time "to end the embargo with Cuba" because it had "utterly failed in the effort to overthrow Castro." Speaking to a Cuban American audience in Miami in August 2007, he said he would not "take off the embargo" as president because it is "an important inducement for change." 4. Illegal immigration In a March 2004 questionnaire, Obama was asked if the government should "crack down on businesses that hire illegal immigrants." He replied "Oppose." In a Jan. 31, 2008, televised debate, he said that "we do have to crack down on those employers that are taking advantage of the situation." 5. Decriminalization of marijuana While running for the U.S. Senate in January 2004, Obama told Illinois college students that he supported eliminating criminal penalties for marijuana use. In the Oct. 30, 2007, presidential debate, he joined other Democratic candidates in opposing the decriminalization of marijuana.

sherlockholmeswatson: Not only are the media biased for Obama in their choice of "pundits" and the way in which they frame their stories, but they also routinely censor posters on their blog who try to either defend Hillary, or criticize Obama. It has happened to me on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, Huffington Post, Boston Globe, and others.

RE:

"I have stopped watching CNN and MSNBC on television and get my news from the internet. That way I can pick and chose what I want to know about and don't have to listen to some "expert" telling me how to think and vote. "

I think that's exactly why Obama's has a strong lead among voters under 45.

Older viewers are much more likely to go to television than the internet for their news.

Posted by: The Geritol Generation | April 15, 2008 10:47 PM

There was an article in the Huffington Post (an Obama supporter)that said CNN had banned top Democratic strategists James Carville, Paul Begala, and Robert Zimmerman, who are CNN mainstays but are all Hillary supporters, from doing any more political analyses on the network until the Democratic party had reached a decision. But as we constantly hear, they have so-called non-aligned analysts who support Mr. Obama and demean or denigrate Hillary Clinton every chance they get.

I understand that this move came after the Obama campaign repeatedly complained to high level officials at CNN about the presence of Carville and Begala on the network.

I have stopped watching CNN and MSNBC on television and get my news from the internet. That way I can pick and chose what I want to know about and don't have to listen to some "expert" telling me how to think and vote.

Sorry, Karl Rove and corporate newsmedia. You have just lost a customer.

Posted by: sherlockholmeswatson | April 15, 2008 9:36 PM

It is becoming increasingly obvious that like the Bush elections of 2000 and 2004, this nomination process is fixed. No one in their right mind could believe that the fact that Obama's "mentor and spiritual adviser" of 20 years is a racist and anti-American nut job, could actually help his image with Americans. But this is what the corporate media is trying to tell us. No matter how may lies, deceptions and scandals that come out about Obama, the corporate media tells us his approval ratings go up, rather than down. What does this mean? Well, we either have the most idiotic electorate since 1930's Germany, or the media is in on the fix. Whichever it is, it is getting rather ridiculous. Well, the more the media tries to push Obama down my throat, the more this Democrat will vote for McCain if Obama is the nominee.

DON'T BE DUPED !!!

Large numbers of Republicans have been voting for Barack Obama in the DEMOCRATIC primaries, and caucuses from early on. Because they feel he would be a weaker opponent against John McCain. With Hillary Clinton you are almost 100% certain to get quality, affordable universal health care very soon.

But first, all of you have to make certain that Hillary Clinton takes the democratic nomination and then the Whitehouse. NOW! is the time. THIS! is the moment you have all been working, and waiting for. You can do this America. "Carpe diem" (harvest the day).

I think Hillary Clinton see's a beautiful world of plenty for all. She's a woman, and a mother. And it's time America. Do this for your-selves, and your children's future. You will have to work together on this and be aggressive, relentless, and creative. Americans face an even worse catastrophe ahead than the one you are living through now.

You see, the medical and insurance industry mostly support the republicans with the money they ripped off from you. And they don't want you to have quality, affordable universal health care. They want to be able to continue to rip you off, and kill you and your children by continuing to deny you life saving medical care that you have already paid for. So they can continue to make more immoral profits for them-selves.

Hillary Clinton has actually won by much larger margins than the vote totals showed. And lost by much smaller vote margins than the vote totals showed. Her delegate count is actually much higher than it shows. And higher than Obama's. She also leads in the electoral college numbers that you must win to become President in the November national election. HILLARY CLINTON IS ALREADY THE TRUE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE!

As much as 30% of Obama's primary, and caucus votes are Republicans trying to choose the weakest democratic candidate for McCain to run against. These Republicans have been gaming the caucuses where it is easier to vote cheat. This is why Obama has not been able to win the BIG! states primaries. Even with Republican vote cheating help.

Hillary Clinton has been OUT MANNED! OUT GUNNED! and OUT SPENT! 4 and 5 to 1. Yet Obama has only been able to manage a very tenuous, and questionable tie with Hillary Clinton.

If Obama is the democratic nominee for the national election in November he will be slaughtered. Because the Republican vote cheating help will suddenly evaporate. All of this vote fraud and republican manipulation has made Obama falsely look like a much stronger candidate than he really is. YOUNG PEOPLE. DON'T BE DUPED! Think about it. You have the most to lose.

The democratic party needs to fix this outrage. Everyone needs to throw all your support to Hillary Clinton NOW! So you can end this outrage against YOU the voter, and against democracy.
The democratic party, and the super-delegates have a decision to make. Are the democrats, and the democratic party going to choose the DEMOCRATIC party nominee to fight for the American people. Or are the republicans going to choose the DEMOCRATIC party nominee through vote fraud, and gaming the DEMOCRATIC party primaries, and caucuses.

Fortunately the Clinton's have been able to hold on against this fraudulent outrage with those repeated dramatic comebacks of Hillary Clinton's. Only the Clinton's are that resourceful, and strong. Hillary Clinton is your NOMINEE. They are the best I have ever seen.

"This is not a game" (Hillary Clinton)

Sincerely

jacksmith...

MY FELLOW BITTER, STUPID, WORKING CLASS PEOPLE.

YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT, TOO :-(

If you think like Barack Obama, that WORKING CLASS PEOPLE are just a bunch of BITTER!, STUPID, PEASANTS, Cash COWS!, and CANNON FODDER. :-(

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

Best regards

jacksmith...

p.s.

If you don't know that the huge amounts of money funding the Obama campaign to try and defeat Hillary Clinton is coming in from the insurance, and medical industry, that has been ripping you off, and killing you and your children. And denying you, and your loved ones the life saving medical care you needed. All just so they can make more huge immoral profits for them-selves off of your suffering...

You Might Be An Idiot, Too!

You see, back in 1993 Hillary Clinton had the audacity, and nerve to try and get quality, affordable universal health care for everyone to prevent the suffering and needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of you each year. :-)

Approx. 100,000 of you die each year from medical accidents from a rush to profit by the insurance, and medical industry. Another 120,000 of you die each year from treatable illness that people in other developed countries don't die from. And I could go on, and on...

Iraqi born Rezko is Obama's friend of 17 years and a well known mob figure.

Rezko served on Obama's U.S. Senate campaign finance committee and raised more than $14 million, according to Federal Election Commission records, helping send Obama to Washington in 2004.

The Chicago Sun Times reports: 'state senator Barack Obama wrote letters to city and state officials supporting his political patron Tony Rezko's successful bid to get more than $14M from taxpayers to build apartments'.

Obama told the Chicago Tribune that, in all the years he's known Rezko, "I've never done any favors for him.''

How does Obama get away with this? Where is the media on this unbelievable topic?

After reading all these blogs, I find several that present thoughtful ideas. And the best of these is the posting by Robert Dallas. It amazed me that everyone should be concerned about how Karl Rove is orchestrating our elections, and yet, no one seemed to blink an eye at Robert's post. At a time when we are told that our young men and women are dying in Iraq for democracy and fair elections--our very own democracy and fair elections are at risk of being destroyed by Karl Rove and his ilk!!! Doesn't this bother anyone but a few? Please, people. Reread Robert's post.

Another good point was made by blink when he said that "Hillary will lose the nomination because the dems are soo good at electing in the primaries candidates that are ultimately unelectable in the general election." I agree whole-heartedly with this statement. I didn't think John Kerry was the best candidate to run against G. W. Bush.--General Clark was.

To all of you who want to inject racism into this election, I would remind you that Mr. Obama is only 1/2 black. His mother was white. That's why he thinks he could be a fence-mender. Unfortunately, his supporters are doing a good job of creating a deeper divide between the democrats than they are fence-mending. On a tv program recently, students from a black university were asked if they thought of themselves as Americans first, or Black Americans first, and their response was, "Black Americans." Until Mr. Obama decided to run for president, the Clintons were well-thought of by the black community. It amazes me how this community's loyalty has changed since they have aligned themselves with the potential nominee of the same skin color. I ask you, who is truly being racist? As for Mr. Obama not being an elitist because he struggled to get where he is and was raised by a single mother, let's not forget Bill Clinton struggled to get where he got and was raised by a single mother as well.

For all of you on the fence, ask yourself who would be better able to go against Karl Rove in the presidential election. Please, don't use your passion and emotions for this vote, use your head. It's not the republicans or democrats who are running this country--it's Karl Rove and his pals. They are playing a chess game and we are the pawns. I feel sure the Republicans in office in Florida knew what they were doing when they moved the primary vote to an earlier date. They knew Hillary would get Florida's votes and they wanted to deprive her of that.

People, please realize we don't have clean elections any more, if ever, and if there's anything we should be bitter about, it's that! If Pennsylvanians and other states want to get out of their slump, they need to make a wise decision about who their next president is going to be. Don't make the same mistakes made during the last two elections when Karl Rove and the news media told you to vote for G. W. Bush and you did.

Hillary Clinton is the best candidate to take on Karl Rove and his ilk!

A note for "Hunter"....you need to do some research on Mr. Obama's voting history regarding gun legislation.

I am going to say something I have noticed for years. Name-calling applies only to the name-caller.

To call someone a name means you are what you are calling them.

Provide your own specifics.

Bravery is explaining the names by not backing down, but by analyzing them and placing them in context. This means the name-caller becomes the name and the analysis frees us from taking it seriously.

Consider that when you see "bitter," or anything Hillary or Rove, et. al, dig up.

Name calling is emotional and unconscious. It seems to me we ought to get out of the sandbox and grow up.

Or as Ghandi replied when asked "what do you think of Western Civilization?" Ghandi replied: "I think it would be a good idea."

The powerful rightwing Jewish Lobby including [AIPAC] American Israel Public Affairs Committee is vexed, frustrated and displeased with Barack Obama's refusal to accept special interest money. The concern is that the Senator's policy prevents them from exerting influence or extracting favor from his administration should he become the next President. Senator Obama has offered his assurance to Jews that he is not a foe- yet this does not seem to allay their resistance to his candidacy.

Hillary Clinton's campaign saw an opening to exploit the Jewish community's apprehension and began stoking the anti-Obama fire behind the scenes. In collaboration with the Clintons, they [the Jewish Lobby] dispatched a number of "candidacy assassinators" including former Clinton special counsel, Lanny Davis, Florida congress woman, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz, California congress man, Brad Sherman, CNN news anchor, Wolfe Blitzer, Senator Joseph Lieberman and others to torpedo Obama's nomination bid. To accomplish their goal, the above mentioned Jews began to fan the flames of hateful passions against the Illinois Senator by pushing the Reverend Wright issue so that it remained in the foreground. The strategy was to convince the voters and the Democratic Super Delegates that Obama would be unelectable in November due to his optics and to sell Hillary as the only winnable choice.

Take a look at the YouTube video where Rachel Maddow from Air America recently discussed the topic on her show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdYzGzvXO0U

Civil Rights and black organizations have dubbed the Jewish Lobby's anti Obama campaign, "mean spirited" but so far have opted to remain tentative. Elected Democrats have also taken note and are increasingly becoming frustrated with Senator Clinton's controversial tactics. They are appalled with her alliance to hawkish groups including John McCain to annihilate a democratic colleague and worry that it provides damaging ammunition to the republicans that could derail Obama's candidacy should he become the nominee. Some Democrats are even calling the conduct treacherous and privately accuse her of deliberately trying to sabotage the Democratic Party because of the unlikely odds of her fairly winning the nomination. But who is willing to bell the Cat? Thus far, a healthy concern for political reprisal has prevented any of the party leaders from offering any public criticism. After-all, the Jewish Lobby for decades have had a strangle hold over politicians and strategically label opposition anti Israel or Bigots in order to gain their compliance. Not to mention that Senator and President Clinton remain powerful and formidable party elites.

Deb...when are you going to stop drinking from the Clinton Kool-aid jar?

Rich people can donate money too. There is a reason why the campaign finance laws limit each and every voting age person to $2300 per person. But Obama has raised far more money from the average American than Clinton and McCain combined.

As much as Obama would like people to think that he is supported by a grassroots operation, he has the backing of 5 Billionaires who have tapping their network of rich friends to donate to him. While there are people who give $25 here or there, a large portion of his money comes from the very rich who have donated the maximum amount.

"He and his wife have helped to legitimize the radical right wing argument that liberals "hate" America."...

I agree. They should be ashamed. Considering how well they have both done living in America. I wonder how life would be for them in another country. It seems to me that life in Africa and many other countries is very hard and violent sometimes. And being a woman in many countries is downright horrific. For many African Americans the way their families were brought here was terrible...but being somewhere else now might be worse.

I am sure I will get yelled at for saying that but it is just an observation.

Maybe Mrs. Obama and her husband should be saying "God Bless America"... every single day.

First of all, Every professor at my conservative university with a PhD is a Christian. Guess what, educated people should be running the nation, moron, and they should take care of those who are not educated, like Bush has not been doing, like Clinton didn't when she supported Nafta, and like McCain won't do when he ships the working class out to die for the rich to afford gas prices.

NEO-CONS FOR HILLARY ! ! !

Pretend that you're a Democrat (Hillary supporter)

Smear Obama with any of the following:

1. He's a Muslim
2. He's not Black enough
3. He's not White enough
4. He's not patriotic
5. He's a racist
6 He's elitist
7. He's a populist

note: never address any "issues", instead smear him with any association: his pastor, someone who endorses him, his wife, his father, etc. always make racist commments (i.e. compare him to Jim Jones), put his middle name in capital letters...and MOST IMPORTANT repeat it over and over (check FoxNews for latest smear)

remember: Americans are stupid! (look how we got them in the Iraq war!)

if you repeat anything enough, they'll believe it.

then

SAY IF OBAMA IS NOMINATED, YOU WON'T VOTE DEMOCRATIC IN NOVEMBER

* note: this is generally true, but if Hillary is nominated, it doesn't matter who gets elected...you can vote for whomever you want....McCain is slightly better, but both are in our lobby's pocket, i.e. both Clinton and McCain will put America in our WARS

THE NEOCON LOBBY OWNS BOTH MCCAIN AND HILLARY.

but not Obama

WE MUST STOP OBAMA !

Obama has seriously hurt the Democratic Party and it's time for him to be called out on it.

He and his wife have helped to legitimize the radical right wing argument that liberals "hate" America.

And now it's almost impossible for us to get Hillary in there without crazy people saying she stole it.
I hope the super delegates do what is best for America and vote for Hillary.
She is the only chance against McCain now.

Great job Obamabots... you kool aid drinkers gave them (republicans) another 4 years.

Posted by: | April 15, 2008 4:27 PM

One more thing....
ccs - see my last comment
coup - assuming Obama has taken thousands, guess what, idiot, thousands in politics is kind of like pennies in every day spending. I know electricians who have donated as much. Funny that you can support Hillary when she has accepted countless millions from PACs compared to Obama's couple thousand. Think about it, Obama received less from lobbyists and PACs in his entire campaign than he did from people like me in the month of March, his second highest grossing month.
Robert Lewis - Are we supposed to let Iranians who suffer in earthquakes die? Is that the purpose of your comment? Another guy feeding on American racism. Americans should be helping out, and the fact that the man who renamed the organization is trying to get America to help by not being racist is not a bad thing.
Kalli - Its nice to see that someone can be less insulting when posting comments, but your personal views of Obama being a sneering elitist only reveal your own insecurity toward a charismatic figure. Hillary has no other expression but condescending, and McCain's face is to wrinkled and pale to distinguish any sneering from smiling, or sleeping.
