Four Pinocchios for Palin

Sarah Palin claimed over the weekend that an Alaska legislative report cleared her of any "hint of any kind of unethical activity" on the Troopergate controversy. That is untrue. (12:10 PM ET) | More »

Karzai the Lover?

By Dana Milbank
This just in: Afghan President Hamid Karzai has a lover. Many of them, actually.

This bulletin came to us courtesy of the Republican National Committee this afternoon, which sent out a press release responding to Barack Obama's criticism of Karzai.

"CNN just aired an interview where Obama asserts 'the Karzai government has not gotten out of the bunker' -- ignoring the multiple assignation attempts on President Karzai," said the e-mail release from the RNC's Alex Conant this afternoon.

Assignation attempts? So who are these women? Or are they men? And how many have there been? Have they gotten past first base with the Afghan president?

If this keeps up, Karzai may want to seek advice from French President Nicolas Sarkozy and former model Carla Bruni. After a successful assignation attempt, the couple married.

Obama and Celebrities, whoopy $h@t. Who Cares!

Seperation of Entertainment and State!

There are people who think this matters! That's sad! What the hell do a bunch of Musicians and Actors really know??!?! WHO THE F CARES!

Obama is a Black Supremist and if he would have actually had competition in his State Senate race there's a huge chance that he would NOT even be a Senator!

What did Obama do in that first run for political office?

A.) Registered more new voters than any Illinois State Senate candidate

B.) Vowed to never cast a "present" vote if elected

C.) Knocked all of his opponents off the ballot so he could run unopposed

D.) Ran with the slogan: "We did it for Harold, we can do it for Barack!"

(C) Is the correct answer!

Obama challenged the nominating petition signatures of the incumbent, Sen. Alice Palmer, and three other rivals

God, this comment string is hilarious: No, Obama is not sponsoring a NASCAR vehicle (he declined -- McCain is still out). http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-trailnascar12-2008jul12,0,913079.story

The Democrats are the party of rich elites? Really? Republicans have dominated corporate boardrooms and country clubs for 50 years -- a few Dems get lefty startups going in Oregon and Washington and all of a sudden Dems are elites? When Karl Rove made his comment about Obama, did he forget that Barack STILL can't be a member at a number of "private" country clubs in the US? Yeah ... elite guy, raised by a single mom, put himself through school with work, loans and scholarship. Dude -- elite is John McCain who's folks paved the way for him to attend the free military academy where he could languish at 894 of 899 grads and not give a dam. He knew he didn't have to excel, he had it made. Barack had to struggle for everything.
And finally, Premier, it's "Gramm" -- not "Graham." And if you want one of the ten most wanted for our horrible economic crisis, Gramm isn't a bad place to start, being responsible for much of the deregulation and corporate excesses of the last 15 years.

I guess the author is attempting humor based on a typo similar to ones that appear in the Post. If that is the case then he better not quit his day job.

WP Editors:

I have read all of the comments made by your readers regarding Graham. As I posted many times to you, readers do not know the facts. They just believe what CNN or MSNBC say. They believe it is "the" reality in which we live.

Please educate them why former President Clinton worked so hard to institutionalize GATT into WTO, but why the Seattle Talk failed.

You have to let the voters channel their anger by ranting though. Do not push, press, or impose your thoughts. As I said many times, it will back-fire you as much as you press.

Senator Obama's Campaign studied that much about the depth of ignorance of the American people and the extent of fear-and-frustration, as narrated in his rhetoric.

Please stand by your journalistic integrity by telling the American people the "facts" about job loss and global economy--where we are going and why free trade is the only option that we have as a global leader.

Thank you.
