Gramm Makes Exit from McCain Team Official

Sen. John McCain publicly distanced himself from former Sen. Phil Gramm, who had been serving as an economic adviser to the campaign, after the Texas Senator described the nation's economic situation as a "mental recession" last week. Today, Gramm made his departure official.

In a statement issued by the McCain campaign Friday afternoon, Gramm said: "It is clear to me that Democrats want to attack me rather than debate Senator McCain on important economic issues facing the country. That kind of distraction hurts not only Senator McCain's ability to present concrete programs to deal with the country's problems, it hurts the country. To end this distraction and get on with the real debate, I hereby step down as Co-Chair of the McCain Campaign and join the growing number of rank-and-file McCain supporters."

Gramm is right! You lazy liberals are all such whiners. Quit blaming your own financial failures on the great work of Goerge Bush. Our economy is stronger than ever before and I pray to God McCain continues these great policies.

Gramm is a dirty rotten fish with his political reputation... The only reason he is resigning is so that his cod liver oil does not rubb of on McCain's already questionable campaign of fish grease.

Lol.

Howcum the Washington Post did not release the results of its poll showing Obama up over McCain 50-42? I found out about this in the Huffington Post. Are we trying to manipulate the election a little? HMMM? How about just being impartial and release the news and let the chips fall where they may and we would respect Washington Post-ABC News a lot more. Does ABC mean already been cooked? No more of this ,please?

Grahm is exiting and Mccain should follow his lead because he's no better. If that was his choice of an economic advisor than were all doomed. How could Mccain trust someone like Graham who thinks were a nation of Whinners. Doesn't seem like they understand the challenges were facing. Besides, Mccain will be in Iraq for most of the year anyway.

Mccain doesn't understand economics, and Graham thinks were a nation of whinners. Wonder why Mccain economic policies suck. Mccain said he would create jobs. How could he create anything while stayin in Iraq spending 10 million a month. Oh he'll cut pork barrel spending but its already spent on contruction for military families and foreign aid. I almost forgot Mccain doesn't support the troops.

MCCAIN SAID HE WOULD CREATE MORE JOBS. I BELIEVE HE WOULD CREATE MORE JOBS IN IRAQ. HE WOULD HAVE 100 YEARS TO CREATE THEM. THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF IRAQ SHOULD BE JOHN MCCAIN.

I would get rid of Grahm too if he exposed the rehtoric and true feelings on how Mccain economic policies affect Americans. Stop being a Nation of Whinners and eat cake.

Geez, is Phil Gramm physically, or mentally, stepping down from his position as Co-Chair of McCain's dismal campaign? Geez, was McCain's picking of Gramm to Co-Chair his campaign due to a lack of experience in personnel assessment, just cronism at it's worst, or REALLY BAD JUDGMENT!

Senator McCain, enjoy your summer!

Obama is the new king of flip flops.

FISA?

NAFTA?

Public Campaign Finance?

Iraq?

What DOES Obama stand for?

How many languages DOES Obama speak?

Will the media lapdogs who are following their "chosen one" to his "big" trip to Europe film Obama speaking in foreign languages? I doubt it. Obama has not even mastered the English language as of yet. "I'm just messin' with ya man" "I got ta git one of them" etc. LOL. Obama is a pathetic joke.

The Dems are really stupid, once again about to nominate another unelectable candidate when they have a brilliant candidate Hillary Clinton ready to lead.

It's not too late to rectify this unfortunate situation at the DNC convention in Denver next month when the ACTUAL nomination occurs, the DNC needs to have a real, open convention. It is the right thing to do.

Time for you to head out and get some more crack,

========
McCain is an honorable man. If the Dems foolishly nominate Obama instead of the more qualified and more electable Hillary Clinton, vote for McCain. Country first party second.

If Obama does nothing else in his political career, his keeping the Clinton Slime Machine out of the White House merits him a spot on Mt. Rushmore.

The media never would have let Obama get away with having Mr. Enron, or anyone half as crooked, as his economic advisor.

Lucy! You have some 'splaining to do!
