Radioactivity?.. I don't have to think about it, Emily. Pray, what a strange choice of topic anyhow. Is it an attempt to divert the masses from the topics that really matter, e.g. the gas prices, the soaring cost of real estate and living in general, employment, impending invasion of Iran, devious incompetence of the government, degradation of Zionizm, Brad and Angelina?..

Is it your choice or you just following orders, if you don't mind my asking?

I remember reading in Scientific American that many astronauts/cosmonauts developed cataracts due to cosmic rays zipping through their eyes. And that a cheap way to block cosmic rays is to surround your spaceship in a giant ball of water, which acts like Earth's atmosphere.

Another possibility is that as people become more exposed to radiation, our medical art will advance to repair the DNA damage. So as we get irridated, we'll get cleased by machines.

Yawn.

Turnabout -

Probably not in your lifetime or mine, assuming we are in our 30s, but one day our descendents may be injected with biological nanite machines killing cancerous or otherwised damaged cells that can't be repaired, stimulating healthy cell growth...doing fast bone, brain, and tissue repair.

Interesting stuff.

Anyhow, Alberto, you want to beat it off together some time? Love your poetry, by the way.

A topic on radioactivity compared to what?

1.Deaths in the coal mining industry?
2.Multi-millions of deaths anually do to CO2 on the invironment?
3.Wars over oil?
4.Global dimming from fossil fuels?

Compared to those nuclear energy seems very safe!
