Chris, rather than be snarky, I'll just point out that I think Dr Gov Chairman Dean is doing a fine job. And whether Leaders Pelosi and Reid are concerned with his efforts is really not that big of an issue, I don't think it even rises to the level of gossip.

That's just how it is in the real world, people always seem to ask this pesky little questions about how somebody else is doing their job within an organization (except in Bush's Bubble, those sorts of things aren't allowed).

Of course, the DNC isn't just an arm of Congress, so there are other considerations, other constituents being served.

It's just a debate over strategy, how much to spend on tactical versus strategic plans, but if you want to make it a whisper campaign against Howard Dean, well, don't be surprised at the crap you're going to hear. Ask Dear Debbie, she can tell you all about THAT!

Oh, and you reveal much in your comment about the Blackberry settlement, Chris. More important than the fate of nations, the crimes and greed and torture and Constitutional Violations and lies and spying of George W Bush, your precious hand held computer toy, that's what really matters, isn't it Chris?

Don't you get tired of reposting the same stuff?

Are you unaware that Democrats outside the beltway are less than enthralled with the effectiveness of the Democratic leadership and don't particularly care what they think as long as they don't seriously interfere with Dean.

Can you imagine that Democrats are tired of losing elections under the same old leadership and the same old incompetent "consultants?"

Are you aware that many of us have stopped donating to the major Democratic fund-raising groups and instead contribute to candidates and groups we trust both within and outside of our states?

Anonymous sources? NO credibility in this situation.

Heh. Ok, that's pretty funny. I do wonder why these "democratic operatives" are never forced to do their bellyaching under cover of anonymity. Seems like *that* is the biggest part of the story.

Who are we talking about?

Since you were so nice to freference it twice, I have to thank you again!

Chris,

For the past day we got a little concerned that you were going a little wobbly. Especially when you were talking to our good friend Al From at Ken's foam party last night, mentioning your concern about having to slip in something to keep the editors off you.

But now I see that Al helped you out. Beuatiful! You and Balz managed to retype the same article again about Dean "doing bad fundraising", and managed to use only the numbers that make things look bad. We really appreciate you not using those election cycle comparative numbers that show Dean rapidly closing the gap between us and the DNC. Boy, would that make us look silly!

Again, you are worth far more than what we are paying you. You'll find a second check this week from our friends at the DLC. Marshall says Hi!

Sincerely,

The RNC
