The Craig Shadow

Every Republican on stage is cursing Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) for his guilty plea for disorderly conduct in an airport men's room and subsequent rethinking of his resignation.

Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kans.) -- after 25 minutes without a single word -- was forced to answer whether the Craig incident endangered the party's ability to be strong on family values.

Brownback dodged, somewhat, by noting that Craig should stay resigned.

"I'd say on his second thoughts, he's already pulled that trigger," said Brownback. He condemned it as a "terrible situation" but praised the quick response by Senate Republican leaders to pressure Craig to resign his post.

Rep. Duncan Hunter (Calif.) got a similar question and said that he believed Craig should stick to his original resignation plan.

None of the frontrunners -- including Romney who Craig had endorsed -- were asked the question. Count that as a dodged bullet for the former Governor.

Your Ron Paul is a very naive individual. I will not judge his intellengence but I find it very hard to listen to him. I consider him to be as dangerous as the liberals.

If we actually lived in a Democracy and not in the fascist state that we do, RON PAUL would be given the Republican nomination and ultimately the presidency because of his ideas, intellect, strength, values and integrity.

Yeah, but that's as likely to happen as Bush taking responsibility for his war crimes.

I think the American public would like to know why the system is rigged the way it is ?

Why is it that every time I hear about Republican front-runners I always hear Guiliani, McCain or Romney, but whenever I look at the winners of every single debate RON PAUL wins by a COMPLETE landslide. Sometimes even with over 90% of the votes over the entire group of Bush butt-kissers.

Mitt keeps tapping his feet. Does he need me to show him where the mens' room is?

They must be nervous... they're all tapping their feet! Maybe they need to use the mens' room.
