PS I wouldn't put it past the good ol boys and girls in SC to vote Hillary ahead of Obama and see her win by a narrow margin. The polls put him ahead anywhere from 8-12 points. He may actually need that to be a 12-16 point spread. NH made exit polling unreliable in this "race."

For all intents and purposes, the Obama campaign ends in SC as the nation comes to the realisation that the first successful
African American presidential nominee must do more than offer platitudes such as "Change You Can Believe In." Sadly,his glaring lack of specifics made many a voter understand that the only real change they saw from Obama was skin colour. Sure, the Clinton machine played tough; but how else could it get the the point across. Meanwhile, Edwards wins everyone's respect as the man who might have won it all if he had been more willing to embrace the center; but, he showed real character on the left (even though, like Romney, some of his positions might have been a little manufactured for 2008). Still, no matter who winds up the Dem nominee, John would make a great AG and the real winner for many of us is Elizabeth Edwards whose grit is inspirational. She is the Poster Person for class and courage.
