Schwarzenegger To Endorse McCain, Says L.A. Times

Just as the Republican debate began tonight in California tonight, the Los Angeles Times broke the news that California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) will endorse Sen. John McCain's (Ariz.) presidential bid tomorrow -- another major boost for the Arizona senator.
Schwarzenegger is extremely popular in California and is well known across the country for his celebrity and political backgrounds. The Schwarzenegger and Giuliani endorsements make McCain a very strong favorite in the Golden State.
One interesting common tie between Schwarzenegger and McCain -- Steve Schmidt. Schmidt managed Schwarzenegger's 2006 reelection campaign and is now a member of McCain's campaign inner circle.
