Who's the Best NBA Player Without a Ring?

The Celtics' Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are on a mission to not only win a championship for Boston, but to win a title as individual players for the first time in each of their respective careers. They are known as the Big Three, but in terms of legacy, it would seem most critical for Garnett to get a ring so as to cement his place among the all-time greats. Our question is: Who is the best NBA player of all time who never won a championship?

What Event Would Get Marylanders Most Excited?

The Preakness, which has its 133rd installment May 17, always gets Marylanders fired up, at least if the infield carousing is any indication. Our question is which sports event would most excite denizens of the state (in no particular order): The Maryland men's basketball team in the Final Four, the Ravens in the Super Bowl, Johns Hopkins in the NCAA lacrosse championship, the Maryland football team in the BCS Championship Game, the Orioles in the World Series, or the Preakness?

What's as Scary as Facing the Island Green?

The Players Championship is coming up and you know what that means: Watching some of the world's finest golfers quake in fear at the infamous 17th hole. We're looking for examples of specific situations athletes in other sports face that are as nerve-wracking as stepping up to the tee at the Island Green.

Biggest NFL Draft Bust of Past 20 Years?

Finally, after a buildup of hype that seemingly began right after last year's NFL draft, this year's cattle-call is set to go this Saturday and Sunday. While it may take a while to see which teams made expensive mistakes in 2008, we have a long list of players from previous drafts who just didn't quite pan out. So our question is: Who was the biggest NFL draft bust of the past 20 years?

Which Team Will Win the NBA Title?

Our previous question was which team would win the Stanley Cup. Well, this week, we wanted to ask a completely different question, so we took the radical step of switching leagues, from the NHL all the way to the NBA. Thus our brand-new question this week is: Which team will win the NBA title?

Who Will Win the Stanley Cup?

The NHL's regular season draws mercifully close to its conclusion, meaning that, very soon, the intensity and endless overtimes of the playoff hockey will be here. What we want to know is who will be left standing, or skating, at the end of it all: Which team will win the Stanley Cup?

Best NCAA Title Basketball Game?

We're No. 1! Get used to hearing that a lot over the coming week. The Final Four features nothing but top seeds, which isn't good for the Cinderella aspect but might mean some very high-quality games. Speaking of great games, our question this week, is: What was the most memorable men's basketball national championship game?

Which Baseball Team's Offseason Had the Most Impact?

The Nationals' new stadium finally hosted a game, and can't be said that the folks involved didn't give it the ol' college try. Literally, as the venue's inaugural action came in a sparsely attended contest between George Washington and St. Joseph's. But that means that the real thing is just around the corner, so what we're wondering is, which MLB team's fortunes were changed the most, for better or worse, by its offseason moves?

Biggest NCAA Tourney Upset?

March is getting madder by the minute, but everyone knows that the true craziness sets in when top seeds start tumbling in the NCAA tournament. So while we look forward to seeing how the mighty fall, we want to know what you think was the tourney's biggest upset.

Who's the Luckiest?

We're pegging this question to St. Patrick's Day, a time when you hear plenty about "the luck of the Irish," although Charlie Weis's boys didn't seem too fortunate last year. Anyway, we want to know who you think the luckiest person currently active in sports is. It could be a player, coach, executive, mascot, whatever -- just someone you think has had at least one thing and possibly a ton of things go right for him or her.

Most Likely to Win the Tourney?

College basketball's regular season is almost over, which means two things: Crucial conference tournament action is coming right up, followed by Selection Sunday, then... well, it just gets better. It also means that we've had several months to size up the top contenders and the dark horses to win it all. So we want to know who you think, when all is said and done, will come out on top in the NCAA tournament.
