Wednesday Deals: Part II

Hot off the presses: British Airways just announced a three-day sale. Fly from Washington Dulles or Baltimore for $298 plus $158 taxes. That's a grand total of $456. You have to fly Feb. 28-March 25 on Monday-Wednesday to get the cheapest fares, and you have to stay over a Saturday night. Seven-day advance purchase required. Go to www.ba.com.

The airline is also offering spring sale fares of $478 round trip plus taxes for travel March 26-May 27. And, for $100 more each way, you can bump up to World Traveller Plus (for my money, it's a good investment -- more leg room, better service).
