The Friday Photo: Keep Your Eye on the Bouncing Lemon
It's Friday Photo time, and we're happy to report we've had a lot of great entries from those in quest of a Travel tote bag. So keep 'em coming.
This week's tote bag goes to Anne Provencher of Alexandria, who provided this shot from a trip to Peru. We loved the high quality of the photo, and the lovely story behind it.
Here's what Anne had to say:

I spent two weeks on a volunteer tourism trip to Peru. In addition to hiking the Inca trail, we spent a week helping two local organizations. This photo is from the time spent in the Ccaccacollo village in the Sacred Valley. My host family was a couple and their two daughters --Gregorio was a porter on the Inca trail, his wife, Damalia, wove fabrics as a member of the village's weaving cooperative. I spent my first afternoon playing in the yard with Narbi and Julia. Julia had a plastic ball that broke in half with her enthusiastic throwing into the air -- and into the ground. She went into the house and came out with a lemon and picked up where she left off. In my three-day visit, this and a doll were the only toys I could see that she and her sister possessed. The lemon lasted longer than the plastic ball!
Now it's your turn. Some guidelines:
1. Email ONE photo per week to us travel@washpost.com. Put "Friday Photo" in the subject field, and include your name, address and phone number.
2. Write a paragraph like the one above explaining what's going on in the picture, when you took it and why it's significant to you.
3. Photos should be from a recent trip, voyage, getaway . . whatever you want to call. But keep it within the last month or two.
4. Winners will receive a Travel section trinket (totebag, mousepad, etc.). Winning entries are subject to editing. Employees of The Post and their immediate families are not eligible. No purchase necessary.

So, if I'm correct in noticing a pattern, you're looking for quaint photographs of foreigners.
