Donovan House, Cont'd

When I first blogged about the grand opening of the Donovan House, the new swank Thompson Hotels property on Thomas Circle in Northwest D.C., some mysteries remained. During my impromptu tour, the manager was coy about who would run the restaurant. He ginned up my curiosity by hinting that he/she/it was a celebrity name.
Well, I just learned that fame-game name. It rhymes with Cod Minglish. Okay, no more teasing: The new DH chef is Todd English, who also owns tasty Olives on K Street.
The restaurant will open later this year; however, the rooftop pool and lounge, ADC, will start letting in swimmers and swizzlers around Memorial Day. Party on, Don.
