Gilbert misses shootaround and won't start but will play

The starting lineups for tonight's game were just released and here's a shocker: Antonio Daniels is a starter at guard in place of Gilbert Arenas, who, according to the team, is healthy and ready to play but missed this evening's shootaround. Players were supposed to be on the court for shootaround at 5 p.m. and Gilbert was apparently late. He will play, according to the team.

I just watched Gilbert limp to the lockeroom favoring his left knee. No word yet on how he is. The team doctor followed him in and I'm assuming he'll be getting a quick exam. Stay tuned.

What kind of leader of the team shows up late to a shootaround after getting blown out the night before??

Ej sat his difficult behind down. He's done it before. Also got pissed when EJ questioned shot selection. That bought on his refusal to take shots syndrome. Mgmt has to call in his PoP's to talk to Mr. gilbert Arenas. Nothing new. This has been going on since Arizona & his previous team.

Congrats to the rest of Wizards - they may not have won but considering the 2 main folks were out = they pulled within 8. Not bad folks, not bad.

Yup, kudos to the rest of the team for showing heart and toughness and making it close.
